Do it for the People {Anders/Castle Debate Thread}

Brush out the hair. Dress to impress. Put on makeup. Add some jewelry. Slip into some nice shoes. Look in the mirror one last time. All set.

Castle had something important to do today. She was going to approach another candidate in a bit of a 'debate' fashion. The young woman had yet to listen to the other candidates' point of view, and without knowing what her competitors were doing, how was she supposed to know what she had to do in return? If she wanted to earn the spot of mayor, which she certainly did, she would have to work her hardest, as she had been.

The day prior, the two candidates had planned to meet up with one another. Their meeting spot was at the District Square, just outside of the shopping area so that they could be heard by passersby but not distract those that didn't want to hear them. It was the best way to do things, Castle thought, and she was glad that she had come up with the idea. When Miss Ruined arrived at her meeting place, she immediately saw her opponent.

"Good afternoon. I suppose we should get this started," she said, offering her hand for the opposing candidate to shake if they so pleased. Then, she jumped right into her first question.

"So, you mentioned in your speech that you plan on tearing down the abandoned buildings in the District. Did you think about perhaps, instead of tearing them down, they might have another use, such as shelter for the homeless?" She smiled after she said this, hoping she'd throw him off, even just for a beat.
