Joint Operation ((Gory and Garri))

Mittens stared at the group of them, all staring at her expectantly. Feeling her throat close up and her pulse quicken, she took a step back.
"I...I have to go." She said, her voice catching as she ran out. Oscar walked out with the food and stared as she brushed past him.
"Ma'am! Your food..."

Mittens ignored Deidre, but when Donovan called for her, she turned.
And stopped in the middle of the street. Not the best move.
Cars honked, and Mittens screeched, barrelrolling out of the street. Drivers cursed at her as she sat on the sidewalk, clutching her chest, eyes slightly wild.
"W-whoa..."
Her phone rang, and she picked it up out of habit.
"Mittens." She said by way of greeting.
"Change of plans." The boss said curtly. "You won't be going as a guest to the planetarium with the Gould brothers and Deidre."
"Oh?" She asked, calmer.
"I'll be sending the Kelly Sisters to go with Alex and Donovan. Deidre will go with Dant-"
"THE KELLY SISTERS?! They're complete sl*ts!!" She shrieked into the phone. There was a moment of irratated silence, then the boss spoke again.
"You'll be going as an employee. You're costume has been delievered to your apartment."
"Wow... I feel like a CIA agent."
"Go to your apartment now."
"But I'm kinda-"
"Now."
"Okay!" The phone clicked off and she slide it shut with a sigh, and turned to Donovan.
"I have to go."

Mittens suddenly felt a bit scared when he turned his back. Acting on impulse, she rushed over, grabbed his hand, whirled him around... And kissed him, right then and there.

Her stupid phone rang.
Why did it ALWAYS ring at times like this? Times when it really shouldn't ring.
She cursed and took it out, opened it, and managed to get through the first half of "Hello?" when a very annoying voice yelled, loud enough for Donovan to hear, "LITTLE SISTER, GET TO YOUR APARTMENT NOW! I'M HUNGRY AND I DON'T HAVE A KEY!"
"But I made you one yesterday!" She snapped.
"I can't bring it everywhere I go." Alakay whined.
"Unless someone knocked you out and dragged you to my apartment, I don't think you have an excuse for not bringing the key to my apartment to my apartment." Mittens snapped. "I was in the middle of something."
"Mittens, I'm your older brother. You've known me since the playpen. When have I ever given a crap about what you were doing?" Mittens growled.
"Whatever. Fine, you big baby." She hung up and turned to Donovan.
"Okay, now I really have to go. Tell Dante that I'm still killing him, just not... as soon as planned. Bye, Cutie!" She ran towards home, blushing and grinning.
Best. Day. EVAR!

Donovan made it back to the table and sat down. Dante and Alex turned to him, smiling. They could tell he was in a very, very good mood.

"So, what happened?" Dante asked.

"None of your buisness!" Donovan smiled.

"Aww, Donovan and Kitty Cat froever!" Alex said in a mushy voice.

"Oh, and she wants me to tell you she's going to have to wait to kill you." he said to Dante.

Dante just smirked and took the last sip of his drink. Then he unexpecatdley threw his spoon at Alex, hitting him right where Deidre had hit him.

"Ow! What was that for?" Alex asked.

"Sorry, reflex." Dante smirked.

Mittens read the text and snickered.

Deidre-
Oh the horror...

Mittens walked up to her hunched over brother with a grin.
The thought of Velma and Donovan made her blood boil, but the thought of Alex and Veronica make her giggle.

Mittens grinned and first replied to Donovan.
