*Sweet Disposition* [JackLex/Nick]

She hadn't expected him to be half naked and the view almost made the angel run out of the room in utter embarrassment. Of course she knew what boys looked like without their shirts on, having three brothers and a father herself, but still. A rosy blush spread across her face and she tried her best to remain complacent. There was no need for him to realize how nervous she secretly was.

Why did she have to let him know more about herself? Wasn't what Clara had said sufficient enough? Quite frankly he wasn't being very generous with sharing personal information. It was beginning to irk the beauty and a small part of her was being put-off by him. The blue-eyed girl had been raised with strict manners pertaining to casual conversation. Both parties had to put in an effort, not just one.

She listened to his question out of her undying politeness. It was a decent enough question, so she decided to grace it with an answer. "No I don't work in the mill. Luckily enough I attend school. My father made it a goal of his to put all of his children through school. If we wanted to work the family business it would be up to us. I stop by from time to time. It's a lovely place."Indeed the mill was fascinating place to visit. Although she herself wouldn't work there in the future she was certain Jacob, the youngest of the boys, would. He enjoyed it far more than he did school.

As she sat hanging onto the silence in the air, her salvation was brought in the form of a question that escaped his perfect curled lips.

She had finally opened Nick up, and the excitement coursed throughout her entire body.

The alluring nature of his laugh made Clara want to fall asleep to the sound of his voice. There weren't many things that took the angel's breath away, but Nick was infinitely close to doing so. She wasn't sure whether or not the thoughts she was having were natural, but she assumed that they must be. Girls normally fantasized about boys, and last she checked she was most certainly a normal teenage girl.

His smile warmed her insides and when he questioned her back she was stumped when coming up with a response. Was that an innuendo? Certainly he must have meant an actual bull, but the nature of the entire situation made it seem provocative in a sense. Deciding to take the innocent way out the angel laughed genuinely. "Sorry to disappoint, but I've never ridden a bull. Maybe a bike here or there, but mainly horses." It was a quick save, but she couldn't help but continue to over analyze the question in the back of her mind.

As the handsome boy joined her position on the bed she literally wanted to lay with him for the rest of the night. Something about Nick made her feel safe and comfortable; it was a whole new sensation she had never experienced before. Batting her eyes the angel answered his question, "if you'd like me to I will." She was being entirely honest. If Nick wanted her to stay she would. Of course she'd wake up before the rest of her family did to walk to the couch and make it seem as if she had spent the entire night there.

His compliment that followed made her cheeks blush ever so lightly and she wished he would continue to brush back her long chestnut hair. Before she could thank him however, he shot straight up and whispered in a barely audible tone;
