Shine Bright

*whoosh* went the arrow close to my skin. "God that was close" I thought relieved that it didn't sink into my skin. I look around at everything trying to consider who to attack. "I could attack Mark again but I see Caitlin trying to sneak up on Eve. I assumed that she would try and hurt Eve." I said to myself trying to decide who to attack. I should probably try to protect her." I reflected that Eve might stand a chance all I have to do is get to her but I couldn't protect her with a silly whip. I need to get something much more hurtful. I look around trying to look for a better weapon. I scan the room. Every inch of floor was covered by my eyes and I saw it. It was a hand weapon. It was a sharp and hard. A flail. "I like that weapon" I whispered to myself. I go near it and set down my whip. I grabbed the flail as a baby would grab candy. "Now it's game time." I thought happily.

Mark knew he had to do something, and fast. Shine had just doged his arrow and was already gunning for him. Mark also was being attacked by the small girl named Eve with a rather dangrous Morning Star. So far Mark has sustained little damage but with two ganging up on him, he knew that couldn't last for long, and with his partner compleatly missing, Mark was on his own.

Mark figured he needed to put some space between him and the girl with the morning star if he was going to do any damage with his ranged bow, so he turns and runs straight toward the edge of his sniping spot and as he leaps off of the edge he turns around and lets lose two arrows.

When he hits the ground he rolls on his shoulder and returns to his feet, looking to the sky for a brief moment to see if his arrow went true.

Of course one missed but the other arrow must have nicked the girl somewhere becuase the screen updates Eve's damage to 13.5. Normally Mark might feel remorse about shooting such a small child, but knowing that his weapons are all dulled and the blades are coated with sensors to calculate damage, Mark doesn't think twice before sprinting away toward his second opponant, Shine.

Ok, so it turns out Clover's double post was intentional due to a lack of access the next few days. So this round has only Caitlin to post and then it's open again.[rand=5650040214295128328199885025607115465509949652659028322240185059]

Caitlin was just about to plunge her small dagger into Eve when she sensed someone behind her. Quickly whipping around, hair flying over her shoulder, dagger raised ready to attack, she saw Shine pick up a flail. Caitlin's eyes widened in fear. She knew that this thing could do serious damage. Caitlin had only seconds to decide which girl to attack. She could see that the older girl was weaker, but Caitlin did not like the idea of turning her back on the small girl. Something about her innocence made her a huge threat to Caitlin, and she wasn't sure why. At the last moment, Caitlin turned back to the small girl, whispered "Sorry," and stabbed the poor girl with her small dagger.

I see both Mark and Caitlin attacking Eve. I was relieved that I wasn't attacked by any of them. But at the same time I was feeling sad because they were both attacking Eve. "Poor Eve I should probably help her." I thought. I look at who poses the greatest threat and who could possibly defeat my partner. My mind was working over time. I look at Mark who was far away but had a bow and arrow. "He could just easily aim it at Eve and defeat her. But yet he is far away." I thought looking at Mark. The I turn to Caitlin who just stabbed Eve. "Her. She is the one who poses the greatest threat because she is nearer to Eve." I said making up my mind. I decided to go and hit Caitlin with the flail. I run going to her and I attack her.

Caitlin was going in to attack Eve again, when a great force that came from behind crashed down onto her skull. So this is what Eve and Shine are experiencing at the moment, Caitlin had time to think before the shock of the attack really hit her. She remembered how they were both dealing with skull injuries and realised they must be trying incredibly hard not to let the pain show. Caitlin immediately dropped her dagger and clutched her head in pain, letting out a yell. She didn't even care if this made her look weak to the other team, the pain was unbearable.

Caitlin lay on the ground for a minute, letting herself regain her senses. All she could think was one thing: Kill Shine. Caitlin reached out for her dagger and picked it up, the sharp blade tinged with the crimson colour of blood. Shine was still standing near, like she was trying to protect the small girl. Perfect, Caitlin thought as she stood up and drove the dagger into Shine's face.

Mark was already on the move before Shine attacked Mark's partner, but sadly he wasn't fast enough. Mark was still quite a way outofrange when the flail bashed into Caitlin's skull, dealing a 10 on the scoreboard. Mark found Shine heading toward Eve in some sort of attempt to protect the small girl. Well we can't have this now can we? Mark jokingly thinksto himself

Mark beings to circle around in order to get a clear shot at Shine's back. And when the moment presents itself, Mark takes the shot. One arrow for one target.

Mark smiles at his accuracy at such a range. Most people couldn't even hit a person from this range. But Mark tells himself that he doesn't have much time before someone starts gunning for him, so he gets up and begins to move again.

Eve no longer had any idea what was going on. All she knew was that the pain in her head was amazing and Mark and Cait where, in her pained and tired mind, coming at her from every angle.
A normal ten year old would, at that point, have broken down or cried or ran away. A crushed skull and a series of other wounds was truly enough to send almost anyone running. A tear trekked down Eve's block-soaked cheeks, however she did not give up. It was sick, really, the way the two older ones where going at her like they where. Mark, she was sure, was almost an adult, a Peacekeeper in training. Even if the kid had walked through the town at night, all alone, it didn't mean they actually wanted to be killed.
Multiple times.
Sighing and looking around herself, Eve bit her lip. She tasted blood, but she did not care. She had the flail now and she meant to use it. The almost-man, Mark, was nearest to her and the girl aimed carefully.

Mark was aiming at Shine and had launched another arrow toward him, which he doged again, when the small girl came out of nowhere! At was swinging her flail madly and smashed it straight into Mark's hand. Damn!! Mark curses to himself when the pain shoots through his hand.

Mark decides that since the girl is smaller, Mark can easily overtake this small girl and slow her down a little before he departs in search of another weapon. He throws a left punch at the girl which come up short, but Mark follows with a wide kick which contacts directly with the middle of the small child's face.

The Mark just broke that girl's nose!! He couldn't believe that he had just done that. But then one thought of Molly and he forgot all sorrow over what he had done. He knew that the battle needed to be won if he was going to make the special forces unit and so Mark followed the mission directive and left the girl to bleed. He needed a weapon but there was no such device to be found. . .

The Current Damage Count is as follows.

Mark's Damage = 12.5
Caitlin's Damage = 15.5
-vs-
Eve's Damage = 19.0
Shine's Damage = 26.5

Remember, as soon as your fighter reaches 40 Damage, they are out of the match.

I was getting sick of this. I will become their target practice if I don't fight back. "I have to fight back. For me, for everything I believe in I am not going to lose!" I told my self getting ready to attack. I saw mark attack Eve poor old Eve. So I decided to attack Mark and leave Caitlin alone for a while I know Eve's gonna take care of her later.

After lashing ot at Shine, Caitlin down back a moment, assessing the current situation. She knew it was only a matter of minutes before she would be pulled back into the battle, but she only needed a few seconds to regain her senses. She felt the throbbing pain in her head begin to ease, which made Caitlin feel better, though she knew there would be quite a lot of internal damage. Are 15 year olds skulls even fully reconstructed yet?

[/color] she wondered to herself, hoping the damage wasn't as bad as it had felt.

Caitlin pretended to look around for another weapon, but to be honest, a dagger was all she needed. Nothing worked better for her than a trusty dagger, and she wouldn't trade it for anything. As she began to rise to her feet, she could see both people from the other team ganging up on Mark. Caitlin felt a pang of pity for the small girl, who coouldn't be any older than 10. But Caitlin also knew that she was not one to mess with. She looks quite dangerous, maybe I should take her out...[/color] But something about hurting an innocent girl didn't feel right, so Caitlin focused once again on Shine. He had caused her head injury, and he would pay. Caitlin ran a few paces towards where Shine was standing and without hesitation threw the dagger at him.

I Just realised that everyone had attacked this round, so it's open again...so I'll start this round.

Mark Mollove

He looks around quickly but there's nothing really that he can use. It all seems so worthless. There's still a few arrows left in his quiver and he could use one of them to stab someone, but just as he pulls one out he sees Eve comming at him with her flail. He tries to duck to the left but the flail catches Mark's quiver and smashes both the quiver and remaining arrows to pices. Mark instintictivly looks to the sky for damage but nothing shows. Hmm...must have been a miss. Thank Goodness!

Mark barely makes it back to his feet in one single roll and when he does come up, it looks like Eve is ready to strike him again. Mark dives forward under eve's flail and stabs the arrow as hard as he can into Eve's Neck, of course, it's a dull coated weapon and the arrow simply slides aside and falls to the ground, but being her neck, it still leaves a nice burise.

But of course, the damage is still logged and it registers on the screen, 7 Damage to Eve. Guess that helps his team out. Mark rolls over but realises he is practly laying at Eve's feet.
