Surprisingly, Little Miss Stubborn agreed to what I'd told the peacekeeper. I could see her hands shaking ever-so-slightly but decided not to stare because the peacekeeper in front of us looks terribly demented. He's probably gonna go all "SHOOT TO KILL!" once he see's someone scared.Ugh. I took a quiet deep breath and thought of what to do. Well, at least the couple back there would do anything to protect each other. I mean, that's how I see it. But as for us Taylor, Little Miss Stubborn, and me...we have none to depend on but ourselves. Making matters worse, Taylor is severely injured and, by the looks of it, she's losing blood.
All of us could clearly see the peacekeeper's rifle aimed at the right of Little Miss Stubborn's head. He's been nothing but a pure nuisance with a gun so far. I wonder how he'd be without one? I look back to the couple behind us. I nod at them as a signal to stand next to either me or at Little Miss Stubborn's side to for a semi circle 'round the peacekeeper. Suddenly, the little girl tries to scoot out but, instead, she hits a wall. Foolish girl.[/i] I murmur, but then realized that the peacekeeper was distracted. I pull his arm on the rifle and twisted it back, pushing it upward to make him let go of the weapon almost immediately. But unfortunately, I accidentallypushed the finger on the trigger. The bullet skimmed across my right cheek. It hurt so bad. It stung so much my eyes watered. I took hold of the rifle snapped it in half an threw it as far as I could, clouded in pain.[/size]
