Tell the Stars [Gav/Latisha] [Blitz]

"They must be talking about the near Reaping." a voice says, breaking through the girls' ring of quiet voices. Meredith immediatly whirls around, staring into the eyes of the intruder. Amity hides her face in her hands and Fornax keeps looking at the sky, attempting to drone out the person. Now that another person was present, she'd not utter a word. "Who are you?" Meredith asks, suspision rising in her little body. Who was this eavesdropper? Amity uncovers her eyes a bit and peers at the person. "Y-y-y-yah. Who're you?" She questions. Amity always had to be like Meredith, even though she was just like Fornax, shy and un-social.

Meredith stares at him for a few seconds, then decides he's safe. She reaches forward and shakes his hand. "I'm Meredith Strekker." She says, then motions towards Amity and Fornax. "These are my sisters, Fornax and Amity." Fornax's eyes flicker momentarily to the boy, then quickly go back to the sky. She'd have nothing to do with random passerby. Amity, on the other hand, was curious and scared at the same time. She never really trusted strangers, whether they claimed to be safe or not.

Meredith looks at Fornax, who has now gotten to looking stright at him. Too close. She stares at Meredith, and Meredith stares back. With a slump of the shoulders and a harsh glare, Fornax lays back on the ground and stares into space. Literally. "Yeah, sure." Amity pipes up, fixing it for her sisters, who wouldn't ever be able to get past that silent fight.

Fornax scoffs at the fact he was eavesdropping. Amity covers her face and curls up to Meredith, who sighs. Thanks for bringing it back up. She thinks. She strokes Amity's hair a bit and nods her head. "Yes it is." she says.

It's one of those momens most people might find either cute or creepy. All three of them, either turning, sitting up, or merely moving their eyes, look at eachother. That is quite a thing to say to someone you've known for ten minutes. Especially since all three of the girls had their names in three times, and if one did get picked and he volunteered it would be like giving up his life for them. Then, at the same time, they make a realization. The eye contatc lasts for a few more seconds, then Amity goes back to curling up with Meredith, Fornax goes back to looking at the stars (but a bit less vigorously), and Meredith turns her gaze back to Hunter. "Thanks." She says quietly. "But your male."

Fornax laughs a bit, Amity frowns, and Meredith manages a weak smile. "It's alright. It's the thought that counts." She says, but has to look back at Amity, who is rubbing her head against her like a cat. Silly girl.She gives her a little squeeze hug and turns her head back up to Hunter. "Don't feel embarassed, we're just scared."
