Tallow was leaving anyway, not because Jack bade her to but because she was growing tired of the whole thing; of the peace keepers who needed to learn to mind their own damn business, of this house, and of Jack who was decidedly her least favorite person to torture in the whole entire world- so rubbish had he been at being tortured that in the end Tallow had actually gone the other way and tried to save his sorry ass not once but twice. So, yeah, Tallow was leaving anyway when all of a sudden Jack decided it was time for him to start coming all over the tough guy and start throwing around threats. Too little too late perhaps since she’d already seen him whimpering and bleeding and crying. All the same, she only had to think of her brother’s face and the implications of what he was saying and her blood was curdling again. Tallow didn’t know whether to laugh or punch him in the jaw.
So she just stopped and tipped her head to the side as though he were a sad little pig that was both as amusing as it was pitiful and said through a grin, “A..are you actually being fucking serious right now, Jack?” Her teeth flashed and they were gritted together tightly, could have been fangs or something. “Don’t make threats in front of me,” she said quietly, “because now I feel like I have to do something to you before you get a chance to hurt my family again.”
Tallow darted forwards again, that same dark look in her eye and seized Jack by the throat, nails digging in, her fingers crushing his windpipe.
Their lips did not meet. That suggests something natural, casual like old friends coming together- more accurately Tallow pressed her mouth on his with all of the force of a punch in the face and after a few seconds bit down on his bottom lip as hard as she could, hard enough to pierce the skin and to draw blood. Drawing away, Tallow realized that she’d smeared lipstick over his face, as close a red as one could ever get to blood.
“You won’t be thanking Scutcher for anything,” said Tallow firmly, with a smirk. “I don’t fucking care what else you do…remember the good times …cry as you jerk yourself off at night…I don’t give a shit. But don’t come after my brother.” She turned to leave,
“I’ll be seeing you around Jack, I promise,” Was her final threat left hanging in the air.
