And now, it's time to leave and turn to dust
Out in the garden where we planted the seeds
There is a tree as old as me
Branches were sewn by the color of green

When I look up into the sky I see a world that has been left unexplored. I see millions upon millions of untouched leagues where no one has ever set foot. A world that is unique and pristine a place I want to be. One day I want to go up into those big open fields, where the stars dance and the moon dips from side to side. Where darkness is kept tightly at bay by the light of a hundred million, billion tiny little lights -lights that explode and twinkle that dance and flicker, little lives that live and die as we do. Where anything seems possible and when a star dies it falls away in a single life changing giant flash of light. I want to live in that world because there I would be king, I would have the world beneath my feet and the sky would be no impossible feat. For one day I will conquer the sky and the universe will be mine.

Knowing that in a lifetime those little shapes in the sky never change gives me something solid to look on. As the sly darkens and the silky fingers of the night stretches its long fingers across the time old worn sky the stars come out to play. They never change and there ever appearing shapes brings me small comfort in a world that seems to be frayed at the edges with chaos. Yet I drink in the chaos as it spills forth, soaking it into my life and using it as power (Just as my father did, just as he taught me, it is exactly who I have become). Anything is power and strength, no matter what form it comes in.

A million lies can drip from the lips of a million mouths, but no matter how many times a lie is repeated it does not make it any more true. Truth is something so little people can afford, they prefer to delve deep into the mind numbing spin of lies. Basing their lives off of a currency that was foul and devilish, a source of payment that ended with more evil in the world than good. Stars cannot lie, I am a star, I am perhaps the biggest star of them all. I consume the sky during the day, the light that brightens the whole world. The single glowing ball of heat and warmth that makes people smile, that vanishes the cold from the day. I am a star, I am the sun. (The light that brings everyone to their knees) I never lie, lies are twisted little things, and with each one that parts someones lips a black spot of evil hibernates deep within them, staining their heart, making them false. No person can be real with evil in their heart and lies are the only evil in the world.

I am not stupid enough to believe that I can continue in a world over flowing with the corruption of lies. And in a world of twisted truths, stolen secrets and fire there is no resemblance of normality. Normality became twofold the day the world crumbled under the revolution of history. Into a word of slyness, where to lose is to cheat, but those who win are the dirtiest cheaters of all. Yet I stand before them all. The one bright star in the sea of darkness, the light that they all look towards. I lavish in praise and I crave power, one day I will own the world. Normal. It is the name that my family whispers about me, the name in that house that sticks to me like glue. To them all I am normal. I prize myself on fooling them all, their mockery is wasted on deaf ears, they don't see me for who I truly am. They aren't stars they have no light, they are darkness that crowds my way. All I have to do is push them all aside, and drink in their words, I am normal. Oh. But I am so very far from that fake truth, I am powerful, cunning and manipulative, I will never lie, but U will do anything for power. And they say I'm normal. I am perhaps the most strangest of them all.

They cannot see past their blindness, their need to be seen as different. They crave the attention that is drawn to them, they are all weird and stupid. Yet if they all truly opened their eyes, instead of stumbling around like blind bats, they would see the light that pours off of me, in waves of glowing, brilliant falls; and they would know just as I do that I am the only hope that this world has, and that if they were to look up and into the sky and see what is truly there they would see the truth. Some nights I hear them wish upon a star. But I am the stars and they are wishing to me.

I am the sky, the land and the air, I am the sun during the day, and the stars at night. The light that keeps everyone safe and the darkness that gathers at the edge of the world. I am power and strength and the sky is no impossible feat.

There is always a way to hint to another the true meaning behind words. The eyes have always been the breaking point, the steadfast gaze, the broken link, the point in which you can see in to another's very soul. So many stories have been laced with how amazing and perceptive the eyes are. The tell us stories, secrets, hidden emotions and they are the gateway to the heart, the soul and any other vital organ that means so much to the on lookers of the world, that just need to see through us all. Oh and the lies that come with the colour of your eyes, why can we not all be simply see the same? Begin as one person, but as you grow become the person you want to be? Why must our dreams and destinies be tainted by those around us? I tried to built my life away from my family, there stains linger with me, but I have escaped them for the most part. I am that star that skids across the sky in one giant moment before tiring and falling away. Disappearing, never to be seen again.

I wish I could be that star and slip from their sights, sound, out of their minds and away from their touch and looks. Being known as one of them leaves you as good as bad, but then even if I could escape them, there are other things that tie me down to them. A great deal of who I am believed to be is evident in how I look. The Caramel brown eyes that sit equally apart, the brown mop of hair that settles around my high cheek-boned strong jawed face. Just as the strong lean muscles, long legs and short body came from my father, the small ears and button nose came from my mother. They are classic. They aren't my own and calm from my mother and father and when people look at me they see them and there is instant distrust. However, I wield the power of persuasion and I get what I want in the end, regardless of my family heritage. But I can imagine and I know that if I was not linked to those people I would already be up with the stars. Because of them I am still grounded, unable to fly and soar and envelope the world that is mine.

So the stars dance and play on without me.

When I look up into the sky I see a world full of freedom and power, endless and tireless miles upon miles of untouched grace. A home that I will one day call my own just as soon as I can spread my wings and learn to fly.
