When I punch somebody I never think about the injuries or disturbance i create. I just need to get some anger out or put somebody in his place like in this case. But when somebody reacts like he does...without any resentment or anger or even fear I must admit he gets the little wheels in my head spinning. Was it justified to punch him and cause him pain for days. Was I overreacting or he going too far? Could I have acted differently?
He reassures me that there will be no peace keepers, which is good because that would be the last thing I need. "Alright."
In the meantime we have reached a large blooming tree near a grave yard. What is he doing here? paying a grave a visit I assume.
I guess it's time to back off and give him some personal space.
So I say my goodbyes. "I hope you're not angry. Once again sorry."
Then I turn to leave and let him do whatever he needs to do.
"I might see you around." Not that I'm really keen on that. The less people that show up at 'my' house the better.
I make my way down the dusty country road that leads to my place. After working on my boat at night it's time to lay down for a few hours before I have to go back out to fish.
When I reach my house I can't help but look around to make sure he's right about the peace keepers. Nobody seems to be around except for my resident mouse, who is sniffing around for food until she spots me and runs away into one of the many holes in the floor boards.
