As you step gingerly onto a patchwork of vines and dead leaves, you scan the undergrowth and wonder if you've found the wrong garden. Then something—a movement out of the corner of your eye, a rush of air that you don't really feel—draws your attention toward a place where the overgrowth looks more controlled, almost artistic. Up close you realize the spot is a path, which you follow with increasing trepidation until it lets you out in a clearing. It's a nice place, nice enough that maybe someone threw real parties here once—there are benches and a fountain that could be gorgeous if it wasn't coated in algae—but you can't appreciate it. All around the clearing, other tributes are emerging from separate paths like yours, and in the center of the clearing sits a low tree with items hanging from its branches.[/blockquote]
Everything is still quiet, but not for long.
The Feast will run much like the Bloodbath in that everyone must post an introduction (stealth does NOT apply), generic attack posts will not be recognized, and instead of a set posting order you may post after any three other tributes (provided that one of those is not in your alliance). Also as in the Bloodbath, rule violations will result in an 8-point damage penalty. However, there are some differences, as follows:
- Each tribute may only claim one item. No tribute may leave without attempting to claim an item, and the final tribute(s) will not receive any extras—the remaining items will be withdrawn by vines.
- TWO attacks are required before claiming an item. Specify your item at the end of your second attack post, as you would when gathering inventory in the Bloodbath.
- Fleeing requires THREE consecutive posts. You cannot attack during these posts, but others may attack you. You cannot flee without help if you have a broken, severed, or partially-severed leg.
- If you do choose to attack while fleeing, you must first drop your item (opening it up for others to grab). This resets you to three fleeing posts.
- All posts must be introductions, fleeing, or attacking.
- Do not stall your introduction.
