Levan was still raging at the girl, even as Lance tried to point out how nervous she looked. She seemed to be scared that anyone would be speaking with her, and he had to wonder why. Since she was not dressed in the outrageously colourful outfits like the other Capitolites, it stuck in his mind that she might be like him or something. Logan huffed that she would be better off hiding if she was scared of everything. Lance just tried to keep his smile, though it wavered as Levan tried to force his control.

She was simply staring at him, until she wasn't. Her scared stare had turned into a glare, and Levan screamed at her from inside his mind. The lip biting, the strong stance. All of them signaled to him that she wanted a fight. And he would give her one if she wanted it. Lance did his best to put a cap on Levan, but there wasn't much he could do when he was experiencing such rage. The least he could do is get himself away from people before he exploded. It would be dangerous for everyone otherwise.

He was about to just walk away when Levan took enough control to make him grab the girl's arm. She's coming with me. As Lance was the only one with enough knowledge of the other personalities to one control them, and two refer to them, the other three just referred to themselves as singular. There was no we, us or our.

Trying to force himself to let go of the girl's arm, while still trying to leave before anyone noticed, he ended up dragging her along with him. For her credit, she never said anything, though that didn't help much with Levan's temper. Finally, Lance forced Levan to back down and managed to release his grip of the girl's arm. At this point, though, they were already a ways away from the market and all thoughts of pretty things had escaped his mind. Liam had buried himself deep, which was not helpful in this situation, and Logan was of no help against Levan. It was a battle between rational and emotional. Things were probably going to get ugly.

If only she would leave, then he could let himself go, or better yet make his way back to the institute so that he could explode in peace. But he couldn't do that with her there, for one Levan was too prominent in his mind, and two he couldn't let her know that he was mentally unstable, though that was starting to become a little obvious. He watched her face, wondering if he was scaring her. Levan didn't care, but Lance knew that it could be bad if she told anyone about him acting like this. Goodbye wandering privileges. He wouldn't be allowed to see the outside of his rooms for a week or more, depending on what she said. Levan just wanted to shut her up, so that that wouldn't happen. He liked his freedom too much to let some little girl ruin it.

He could see that he had gripped her hard enough to slow the blood flow to her forearm and hand because she shook it a few times. That or he had hurt her. He had tried not to, but Levan isn't exactly gentle to anyone. Then she gives him a look of annoyance and mouthed out things that he couldn't hear. He also couldn't understand it because he hadn't dealt with enough people to know how to read lips, though he had the idea that she wasn't very happy about being dragged here. He couldn't blame her much, but Levan could, and did. Pushing against the barrier Lance had tried to set up, Levan tried to take over.

Then he watched as she quieted some, giving him a face that looked like nothing more than defeat. It was almost as though she was surrendering, and yet there was a spark in her that both resonated and clashed with Levan. He counted her blinks, not the natural ones, but those that were like she was trying to clear her vision. One, two, three. And now she openly stared at him. Levan became so strong in him that he ground his teeth, as much in Levan's rage as in the effort to keep him back. He couldn't hurt this girl, one she was innocent, and two there would be major repercussions for it. Then he heard it, whispers. He strained his hearing to figure out who or what they were. There was a mixture of both fear and contempt that flickered in the eyes of the girl in front of him, driving him to the nervous conclusion of Peacekeepers.

That wasn't good, if he were caught in this situation by Peacekeepers, not even his pass would stop them from dragging him back to the institute and demanding he be kept inside for a long time. No sight of the outside, no fresh air. Levan boiled at the thought of his freedom being taken, and Lance couldn't help but agree, to an extent. It wouldn't be long until Levan boiled over at this rate, and there was no way he could get caught by those people. Ever.

Before him, the girl, who still hadn't said a word he realized, shifted her posture. She was no longer standing neutrally, hands at her sides and eyes watchful. Now she had her arms crossed and her weight shifted to one side. One eyebrow was raised in question, but a question of what he couldn't be certain. Still, the way she was looking at him rubbed Levan the wrong way, and his explosive rage had worn down the barrier Lance had set up. Lance faded from the mind of the boy, and Levan took over. A moment of blackness behind his eyes was the only internal sign that anything had happened. But something was definitely different.

Levan glared at the girl, his lip curling in a dark sneer. He took a menacing step forward, dark eyes appearaing to be even darker as a result of his heavy rage. This girl had been annoying him ever since she had run into him, and now she was going to pay for it.With no idea of the existence of the other personalities, there was no way the other three could do anything to stop him as he clenched his fist and raised it slightly, more in threat than in the act of punching. The dark sneer only got darker. "You're so annoying, little pest. You didn't even apologize when you ran into me. Bitch." Only Levan swore, of all of them, and he did so now, calling her a couple other names that would have made Liam cry, if he could have heard them. Lucky that he couldn't.

The voices of the Peacekeepers had faded, whether because they had left or because Levan simply was ignoring them it couldn't be said. Levan didn't care, though some little part of him was glad they were gone. It meant less chance of being found beating on a child, and that made his life easier. This bitch would pay, and he could be gone before she was found. No worries, he wouldn't be found out. There was no way anyone would guess he had done this.
