day at school (possibly romance) (OPEN)

Cole-

"Fun. What did the new instruments not fit in with the old rusty ones?" He laughed and flipped his hair. Then almost knowing what was going to happen put a hand on his note book. "Just kidding. I do want to see it though. I wouldnt like force you to let me see it." She said. Cole sighed. "Yah you can look at it, uh im not the best artist..." Cole said and handed let go of the notebook. Cole looked at the flute in Estelle's hand, had never held any instrument before, well working one, so he looked at it. It was a bit rusty and showed some wear but it still looked fine. Cole pulled out some gum from his jean pocket. He gestured to her is she wanted a piece.

Cole-

Estelle turns down the gum and looks though his note book. Cole notebook/sketch book was just an old tattered blue book, spiral binding and paper sticking out of it. "Is that a cartoon Mr.Stevens?" She asks. "No its my grandfather, and yes he does look a lot like Mr. Stevens." Cole replies. Coles notebook was really something special. It was like a journal, one he rarely showed anyone. It depicted all of his happy moments, mad moments and everything in between. "Your good..." She tells Cole. "Thanks" He says, and to himself he said; yeah im glad you haven't gotten to the other pictures.

These pictures he was talking about were the ones of his sisters death, his best-friends injury, his father and mother, hunger games and other things. He used his art to channel his anger. Which reminded him, she doesnt know that Cole makes food rounds to the hungry kids in the district.

Yep quite a law beaker, just in my own way he though.

"Who's this supposted to be?" Estelle ask pointing at a girl sitting on a brick wall. Nudging slightly, then breaking out into a question Ceaser always asked during interviews. "Do you have anyone special at home?" she says in a capital accent. This makes Cole laugh. "Hahahaha, nice accent, and thats nothing" he says and turns the page. Just then Mrs. Bridges turns to glare at the two of them standing in the hallway next to some of the old rusty lockers with the florescent lights on them. "You better get to class." Mrs. Bridges said. Cole nodded Estelle rolled her eyes. They walked away. "Do you have the last harvesting today?" She asks him. "Yeah, one more class then to the fields. You?"

Cole-

Cole laughed. "your good at that capital accent." Cole laughed again. "Also that over rich food would be nice though." The best dinner he ever had was some meat with a cheap apple sauce on it. Cole laughed "I really wonder how they make that food? man they most do something extravagant to it to make it look so un-natural." Cole though aloud. Cole envisioned some odd chemicals in an apple to make it look clear, or something.

Cole glanced at his beat up watch. His watch was was made of metal with a old leather band. The band had imprints of birds and odd spirals on it. It was a gift from his grandfather. "Its almost time for class" he said.

Cole-

Cole laughed "Lots and lots of sugar. My next class is math." Cole responded. Cole saw Estelle glance at his watch. Cole smiled. It did draw up some attention. But a second later Estelle had bounded off towards the spiral stair case. Cole started to turn around and walk away. "See you after class" He yelled over his shoulder. And hurried of to the class. Barely making it in on time.

Math, a tolerable class. Actually Cole was good at math. Once he got in class he pulled out another notebook, pencil and old text book. He sighed and took notes as the teachers voice drained on. As he sat there he doodled on his sheet of paper. A flower and a tree. "Please bring the she completed tomorrow." Mr. Atten's voice called as the class left the room. He picked up his stuff and trudged to his locker. He jammed all of his stuff in there and when to wait for Estelle at the stair case. He wanted to walk with her to the fields. Since both of them had work next.

Cole-

Another accent. This girl was good. "Hey-lo" Cole said back in his best district 6 accent. It wasnt nearly as good as Estelle's. Cole laughed, "how was art?" He said as they started to walk to the doors that led to the path to the fields. "More things for the capital? I mean you'd think we supplied every thing for the capital... wait we do." Cole shook his head. Damn he hated the capital. Cole was a rebel. "I hate the capital" He said more to himself than Estelle. They kept walking. Though the open doors into the after noon sun. A warm breeze blew as they walked. Cole sighed "Another day in the fields."

Cole-

Cole laughed. "What did you do to your piece of art? Man because i would load mine with all kinds of explosives." Cole said. Cole went off in to a day dream of blowing up the capital. Cole looked up at the blue sky. His hair blew in the light breeze. He flipped his hair. "Do you consider yourself a rebel?" He said absent mind-idly. His hand drumming on the backpack he carried on his right shoulder. He looked down at Estelle waiting for and answer.

"WATCH OUT" Some one yelled. Cole grabbled Estelle's arm and ducked. wwwwwiizzzzz, clink. Something flew at them. What ever it was it cut Cole's arm. It was bleeding, warm blood trickled down his sleeve. He didnt have time to look at this cut. A girl came up, fallowed by a crew of other people. "Sorry, just trying out my new boomerang." She said politely. She held it out. Cole let go of the iron grip on Estelle's arm and stood up. "er... its fine." As the group of people walked of he turned to Estelle. "Sorry..." Because he had probably killed her arm.

Cole stood and quickly put a hand on his bleeding arm.

They kept walking.

Cole-

Cole listened to Estelle talk about being a rebel. But then she said something about her scars on her back. He wanted to ask her more about them but then she started to talk again. "Blood is no talking matter. Let me see, im sure youll need some medical attention." She said. "hahahaha I have gotten hurt worse." His hands still stayed on his arm as Estelle tried to pry his hands away. He gave up and let her look at the wound. It started to bleed more. As she looked at the wound Cole started to talk. "This is random but once i was out past the fields in the woods and got shot by some one. I mean with a bow and arrow. Right in my thigh. He pulled his shorts up just a little so Estelle could she the scar. Thinking yeah everybody in district 11 has his/hers share of scars.
