A death in the family (Open)

It was had been a few days since she her dad was taken. She had found the notice of his arrest nailed to his door. The first day she had tried her best to devise a way to free him but it was simply impossible. The next day she had sulked, stayed inside and cried herself out. She sat in silence and watched out the window as two neighbor children, who she had never taken the time to meet, started some form of training. Had their fathers been taken to? She didn't know but it seemed to her that she should be doing what they are doing or something similar. She should be out hunting, not sitting around and letting herself wither and die.

Finally she worked up the nerve to leave the house. She leaned against the door and sadly watched the two neighbor kids go on with their training... at least they had found some purpose. Kiara started to walk towards them but she stopped, a few moments later she was over whelmed with a mixture anger and sorrow. Tears started streaming down her cheeks again. She instantly grew dizzy and stumbled back and let her self fall down against a wall and there she sat. Head in her hands, sobbing in silence.
