a day at the lake (closed)

Liz-

"Should I answer for you? I know you wanna, so how abotu tomorrow night? Dinner at my house and then a walk on the beach?" I pick up the now crying baby and shush him, I wonder weather or not my parents will wake up? Will she take over the role as mother, or will she just say the baby is gross and give him to me? The latter is the more probable answer.

Liz-

I go into Mona's room and see her on the bed. I walk to my father sleeping on the chair and go and poke him. "Dad, get your lazy butt out of bed, you have a son that your daughter has been taking care of for a few hours." He just nods at me then falls back to sleep. Wow. I got over to Mona and poke her arm and tell her the same thing. She ignors me so I put the baby in the carrier and leave him there while I move the crib into my room. I go back and look at the baby. I decide he needs a name, I decide to refer to him as Brady. That will probab;y not be his name but, since I am his mother for a while I will be naming him temporarily.

"Okay, Brady, you are my brother and I love you. I guess I will be taking care of you as your parents are lazy retards." I then put him in the crib and go to sleep. I wake up at 12, 1, 3, 5. 6, 630 and 8. At eight I give up and just get up myself. I feed him and then change him. I sit on the couch and fall asleep. When I wake up I hear screaming. It is Mona, the baby is crying and my dad is still. I look at Mona and she is crying. I loom at my dad and I realize that he may be dead. I walk over to him and hug him, his heart is not pumping and he is not breathing. I take the baby away from Mona and go into my room, I start to sob. The baby sleeps but I can't look at him.

Liz-

I wake up in Bens arms fully content untill I remember what has happened and the weight opf it threatens to kill but, I won't let it. I get up and then I go upstairs, Mona is sleeping and the baby is crying, a woman who is Nikki's mom is hold and shushing the baby. I go over to the lady and take the baby. Little Brady is crying but as soon as he is with me he is fine. I walk back downstairs and look to Ben, "Ben I want to introduce you to my brother formally, Ben this is Brady." I wonder what Mona was fighting with Bens mom for.

Liz-

'I know this isn't my business, but what were you and Mona arguing about? Oh... wait this is my business I was his son and that baby is my brother. Tell me." please tell me.

Liz-

'Thank you I will go and have a little talk with her." I walk up the stairs and into her bedroom. She sits there with her head in her hands. I go up to her and show her Brady, she turns away from him like a disease I hold him out again and she turns away. In my rage I start to yell, "Mona if you don't take care of this baby, so help me I shall. If you give him up for adoption I will throw you out. I can take care of myself and for the past day I have taken care of myself and Brady. Get up or get out. that is your choice."

I walk down stairs and sit beside Ben and his mother with Brady in my arms. I realize that she will stay, but she will not take care of this child, as of now he is my son. "Ben, meet my son, Mona chose to stay but not to have a baby. This is my life." I hold the baby closer and then lean into Ben, he puts his arms around me and hold me while silent tears run down my face.

Liz-

'I can't say how much I appreciate this, Rachel. This means so much, really. Can you help me with something later? I just became a mom, what do I do?" I need the help, I am stuck at 16 with a baby and no mother or father. I hate life.
