Jasper choked a little on the bite as she mentioned the way he spoke. "Oh, I normally get made fun of for saying things like that. Of course you wouldn't here many people say that. A lot of people aren't like me." They aren't gay. Jasper glanced back over at the girl and the cute boy, still conversing. And if they were like Jasper like him, most weren't open about it.

He had tried to be open, but it hadn't worked out for him. Thought's of Jacob crammed into his mind and he suddenly felt emotional. Staring at the cookie in his hands, he shoved the rest of it into his mouth and chewed, finishing it off. If I could only find someone. To love.

What did you expect? She thought. You just met this boy. You don't believe in love at first sight, remember? Plus, you'll always have Zach. She shoved the tears backstage. She was going down in dignity.
"Well, R-R-Raxar, do you always go around here kissing girls you've just met?" She willed her vocal chords to tighten, and it worked. Her voice didn't waver a bit.

For once, I get to look like the idiot with the kids. Amy has to work on her project or else she'll fail, and they really needed her at the hospital-orphanage today, so naturally she called on her twin to switch places with her. Now, she's at the labs, oh the sweet labs, and I'm here with the two kids that decided to come. They've been bugging her about the movies for so long, is what she says. I sigh and trudge behind them as they skip along in front.

"Hey, don't stray too far from me," I yell half-heartedly in warning. Who else would go to the movies at this time of the day? The shorter little boy turns and runs back.

"Are you and Aunty Amy really twins?" Aunty? Where'd that come from?

"Yes, we are." His eyes grow wide in that awed way as he turns around and runs to join his friend.

We finally arrive at the movie theater, and to my surprise, there are many people standing outside of the place, quite a few of them my peers. I don't know if I should wave or if I should pretend I don't see them. As much as I can tolerate spending time with kids, how do I explain my sudden absence from the labs and appearance here? Ah, well.

The kids march up to the ticket booth, choose their movie, and wait for me to catch up. I pay for the tickets. Should I go in with them? It's such a childish movie. I don't know how Amy can stand this. With this valuable time I could be discovering a cure for cancer or a vaccine for that rare form of polio. I pay anyway with the money they gave me from the orphanage's funds and take the tickets.

One of the kids says he needs to go to the restroom, and the other glances from my eyes to the popcorn stand, a hopeful look in his eye. I can't help but smile, but why do I have to be here?
