on the hunt (Innocent, Kyra, Jasik)

Ari smiled at Jasik's first attempt, it really wasn't bad for a first try. Ari was already nodding in silent approvel when he hit 45 seconds, that was 10 seconds away from Ari and Ari had been doing this a long time. Ari couldn't help himself, he did laugh at Jasik's expression, you could just read it in his eyes as he meant to speak then went back and did it again, Ari was happy to think that the kid already had that impression of him. Ari almost felt like he was playing god, or rather, Leo, first taking his name, now having Jasik resond the very way Ari had responded to Leo's constant remarks of do better. It saddned him and made him proud at the same time.
Ari was very impressed with Jasik, the kid picked up things fast! "That was Very good, I'll have some real compatition if you keep this up! (please don't though, Ari needs to stay that bit above the rest, atleast or a while yet, I'll tell you why in a pm if you want)" Ari thought for a moment, there was more he could teach the kid for sure, but he already knew what he really wanted to work on, and for that he needed people, but he didn't want to bring Jasik home yet. " So now you can defend yourself against a ring of Keepers, or atleast hold your own fairly well, how do you feel?"
Ari delibritly watched Jasik's face, he needed to see how he responeded.

That's fine Innocent, next week is Spring Break for me so I'll be on more often.

I'm confused. "Um... I feel good about my new skill," I say slowly. "But what do you mean, keep my own against a ring of Keepers?" This mysterious boy is starting to sound a bit strange, but I'm intrigued.

I pull myself up into the tree behind Leo, coming to rest on a high branch with my legs hanging down. "So what do you have to offer us?" I ask, feeling that I can trust Leo but cautious about what he has in mind. I look down to Kiara sitting on a lower branch. She seems thoughtful but listening.

That's really the most powerplaying I'll do for Innocent, that way she's present and can keep up but I'm not making any major decisions for her.

Ari smiled, finally deciding that he could really trust them. "Well, first I want to enlighten you two on another matter, I want to make sure we can trust eachother, at least enought to feel sure we won't lie. I was lying earlier, for saftey reasons. My name is not Leo but Ari, so that's that."
Ari then smiled, "and now onto the real thing, I want you to join my band. Our entire goal is the health of the districts, even if we use rather, rough methods. One of our prime goals is feeding the district, so we hunt more than is allowed and give what we don't need to those that are having hard times. That's one reason I make sure everyone is trained to hunt exellently. More than that though, we are trying to stop the cruelties. So, I kill the more violent keepers, I don't want anyone else hurting them though, I don't want anyone else to have death on your consiance. So rather I keep most everyone else working on things like bombing the building, inteligence, though a select few go with me on the killings. I just want to help the group grow, I over see everything, we care for our own, you'll always be fed and you'll be taught everything, or close to it."
Ari looked at them hopefully, though he covered it well.

Ari smiled at him. "Thank you" he said sincerly, "And if you don't want to kill anyone, no one will make you, you can join a part of our team whose only job is to hunt and get food to the hungry, as well as to just keep an ear open for anything that might be useful." Ari smiled, "And if you need anything, we'll be happy to try and help."
Ari meant it, there was very little they couldn't do if they all worked togheter.

Ari watched them, incredibly pleased with the responces. Ari smiled as he replied, "Thank you, I know all of those are true, the key is to not be caught" Ari winked, "but I'm vindictive, the only thing I have to live for now is striking some blows of my own back at the capitol and their bullies. Yeah, we aren't big enough to take the capitol down, but we can be a @#!@ of an annoyance." That and Ari wanted to feed the hungry, but really that was only a side perk. The capitol killed Leo, so Ari was doing his part to kill the capitol. Make no disalluisons, Ari is not a star or ethics, morals, anything like that, but that's just the way he is. Besides, Ari wasn't planning to live into old age if he could help it.

OOC: I would love to, but I don't think I'd be active enough. It saddens me.

Ari grins at their enthusiam. "Well, for now why don't we get to know eachother, I'm waiting for Alec to find us, I think it's best you get to know him before we take you to meet the rest of the guys, and girl" Ari tacked the last bit n, still getting used to Kailda.

cool. I should be on a bit more since I'm scrounging for time. And I am afraid avalon will attack me at school if I don't keep active.
