Games Training Club (open)

My alarm woke me up at eight thirty to get ready.It's Saturday,the day I go to Hunger Games training at this fancy place my parents signed me up for.So I put some clothes on,and headed out the door.I got in the car and my mom drove me to the building in which we all practiced.There are only 15 of us in the club,because no one else can afford it.I walk in the big,high ceiling,room,and walk over to my mentor,Preston.He smiles at me and tells me to take my place on the metal plate.I do as I'm told and step on the plate.This is what we do.Get on the plates and go to the practice Cornucopia in the fake arena and grab our paint weapons.Since we don't actually kill each other,we use paintball weapons.paint knives,arrows with paint balls instead of sharp tips on the end,and spears with clumps of paint balls instead of spear heads,it hurts,yea,but it's better than dying.So I wait sixty seconds before the cannon fires.I don't hesitate before running to the Cornucopia,and grab a bow,and some knives,since those are the only weapons I am good with.Some boys and girls have already started spreading out to attack.So I run away,try to stay in for more than five minutes this time.When we do this,I'm almost always in the top 3 but never have made it farther.This time,this time is different,I will win.So I run and in less then five minutes I have run into a girl,who chucks and knife at me,I turn and it splatters on my quiver,so it doesn't count.Seeing as I'm still in,I shoot an arrow at the girl and the paint splatters all over her torso.I hear her mutter a not-so-nice word before she walks to the out-zone.I run back to the Cornucopia,hidden,but watching the fight.I shoot arrows from a tree,and manage to take out two girls.But it gives away my location,and within ten minutes,my tree is on fire.So I climb down,and run.A boy comes up behind me and throws a spear,I duck,spin,and shoot him in the forehead,which he is not happy about at all.The others have hit each other as well so there are 7 of us left to play.I run in,throwing myself into the Cornucopia,and shoot a boy who walks by,6.A girl shouts a curssword so I know she is out.I come out,only to be attacked,but I don't get hit,so I shoot the boy who attacked me,then his alliance member,leaving 3 of us.Two boys and me,the odds aren't in my favor right now,because both boys attack.One throws a spear,I block it away.The other hits the other boy,leaving 2.The boy and I circle the Cornucopia for awhile before he throws a knife.I duck and shoot.I miss,he fires again,I dodge.I realize that I only have one arrow left so I aim carefully and shoot.He get's a mouth-full of paint,and a big bruise,I get a pat on the back,a crown,and some congrats money for winning.I'm not suprised I won,because I am the best.
