Leo's eyes were wide and searching as he ran, looking for a hiding place, then a little girl was calling to him, trying to help him. It can't hurt, he thought as he had no real plan at the moment, so he took off after her, and was that girl fast! He hadn't exactly been exercising reguraly as an Avox, but she still seemed faster than him. And faster than the peacekeepers, he still heard their shouts but they were falling farther behind, and then they were ducking into a house, ran down into a basement. She's smarter than the average capitol person, he thought.
As he caught his breath, bending over panting, he began to speak well, speak being a realitive term, he was realy writing and signing, he always had a pad with him, "Thank you for helping me, now what do you want?" He wasn't known for tack, well, not any more. Maybe this girl was a clueless capitol person, trying to be a hero, but most people had a motive for helping him, some plan, he'd rather know what it is.

Leo looked at her closely, well, it was believable. She wasn't that old, and the capitol kept their people young, it made sense. Leo shrugged mentally, he might as well take the help where he could get it.
Leo thought about lying, but now that he thought about it, it hardly mattered anymore, there wasn't any harm with giving out his true identity anymore.
"My name is Leo" He wrote out, suddenly very thankful for those slight courses he had tooken in school, his grammer might be horrible but he could communicate.
"How long do I stay here? When will you're parent's be back?" Leo was suprised that se was out alone, he knew it couldn't last, and he knew he had to run once they were back, Capitol people had never kept any secret of his. Not that he ever gave them one.

Leo looked at her quickly, so maybe even capitol people didn't have a fairytale life? Sure, it was easy compared to his, now and in the past, but he had always had family, well, he used to, till he got here. Leo began to frown, he hated thinking of family, it always reminded him of sweet little Ari, Ari, who was probably dead now, at best an Avox, Ari who Leo had practically sentanced to that life by leaving him. Leo blinked as Abby pulled on him, bringing him into a sickingly bright room.
"You're right, I need to stay. " he wrote, then, hesitantly, he put a hand on Abby's shoulder, "It's okay, you're parent's are crazy to ignore you, no life is perfect" then he took his hand off and looked around the room, hiding his eyes, which were painfilled.
What is it about her?! Leo thought angerly, then he realized it, she was like Ari used to be. It was a stretch, she was a girl, she was younger, but, something about her, it reminded him of when Ari cried on his lap, or slept next to him because he was scared. It also reminded Leo of how he forced Ari to lose that, to become hard, to not be soft. Leo regretted it, really regretted it. Now, something about that little girl, all he wanted to do was shelter her, like he didn't with Ari, Leo knew fully well how stupid that was, still.

Leo's head shot up farther as he heard the pounding on the door, hearing Abby, well she was completely right, there was nothing to say. Nodding he looked around the room and dived into the closet, burying himself in the fancy capitol clothes, well, that was, after he grabbed some pretty trinket, it was fairly heavy and had a sharp edge.
Listening hard Leo heard the conversation, so this was a friend of Abby. Sighing, he tucked the trinket into his waist band. Leo didn't mean to steal it, he meant to put it back once he was sure he didn't need a weapon. He pulled himself out of the closet and was standing as Abby re-entered the room. He stood to the side, watching. Evalutating this new girl, Ky, to see how safe she was. Leo could bolt if he decided she wasn't, but he hoped she was. It wasn't often he got this good a hiding spot, if this held, well, who knew what he might do.

Leo watched Kylene cooly, not displaying much emotion. He did note how she took care of Abby though, it relieved a small part of him, as silly though it was, to know that she had someone looking out for her.

Leo glared at Kylene when him being 'protection' came up though, It was like looking into ice. He'd perfected turning his icy gray eyes into glaciers, it wasn't a good look to recive. Leo was not going to be another servent to any capitol citizen, no matter that he actually liked Abby, he still wasn't going to go along with this. Besides, techincally, he was a fugative so it wouldn't work out well if he just 'changed owners'.

As Kylene started to explain herself, Leo let his glare slip back into a slightly bored gaze, inwardly he liked her better. Not that that ment he had a high opion of her, after all she was just a spoiled capitol girl now, wanting to rebel, but at least she realized more or less their were problems. And... well, Leo wasn't a great person, his written responce wasn't amazing.
"I was confused, I am not now. I agree, the capitol is wroung. Can I kill your father?"
So much for Tact, Leo had left that behind long ago.
