Dru was outraged. She glowered at the table as Anna said no to killing all the Marauders--they deserved to go to jail and rot until finally all the effects smoking, drugs, and generally being insane caught up with them and they died of an awful, rare disease. No, Drusilla did not care about the countless lives they had taken over the gangs live-span--of course that wasn't the reason she wanted them to burn. They had threatened her. It was unacceptable, and the time had come to get back at them.

Her voice was malicious. "They threatened me the little idiots. Before I joined this gang, they threatened me and I would love to see them be put away, or maybe die. So they wont show mercy. Why should we? Just nip this problem in the bud before things get bloodier." She raised one of her eyebrows, shooting daggers at Almighty Leader--daring her to say they weren't a problem, and should not be taken seriously. This was not the time to suck up to the boss-lady. Dru was out for revenge.

She looked down at her right leg, glowering at the cuts and scrapes that ran up from her knee to her thigh. In a desperate attempt to flee the Marauders, she had climbed a tree and earned herself some scratches. Only the thinnest lines were left, the wounds were all but healed. So close, but not yet--every day Dru had to look at her body and see what the Marauders had caused. She wanted to replicate her scratches on one of them. Now...

Anna held her head in her hands. "I'm not saying that we don't attack. I just think we should think about this for more than two seconds before running in, guns blazing."

"Which I agree with," Peter put in smoothly.

"Or you could just not be in a gang," Mike said. Anna, Peter and Meggie all shot him looks, which he did not meet as he suddenly became very interested in the chipped paint of the walls and twiddled his thumbs in a somewhat overdone show of innocence.

Vash looked at everyone's bickering and sighed. Why must everyone get into fights all the damn time? I hate listening to arguments.

"Look, children, once we're done bickering, I'm thinking MAYBE we get onto the issue at hand? Look, we are all pissed at what happened to the courier, but that doesn't mean we just charge in guns blazing, it'll open up a can of worms too big for any of us to handle. I hate having to be the voice of reason here, but unless we start working together, I'm leaving until we start to get it together." And he started to leave his seat.

"Actually, that's what," Mike stopped and pointed at Anna. "That's what she was saying. So..." Anna laughed a little. "And who are you to call me a child? I'm older than you! My dad saw the first Hunger Game!"

"That's a nice story, Grandpa," Meggie said dreamily.

"Come back, Vash." Anna said irritably as Mike shot Meggie an amused look. "Please?"

" as much as I hate to admit it, we need everyone here, so get your ass back in here so the meeting can go on." I said. I was throughly pissed off at them all, they taking these pot head idiots too seriously. If we treat them like a real gang, then that is what they will become, instead of the pack of drug abusing losers that they are.

Vash thumped back down in the chair and allowed a shadow of a smile to grace his lips. My little plan worked, he thought smugly, at least they aren't arguing now . Vash wiped the tiny grin off his face and pulled out his hip flask, opening the little top, taking a swig. "Don't worry, it's not booze" he said to the incredulous faces glaring at him. He permitted himself a small wink at Mike and put the flask back in his suit.

"Now, lets down to business. It seems that my idea's out, so we got any takers for anything else?"

Mike rose an eyebrow at Vash, and Anna frowned, both at the wink and the flask.

"I think we should stop treating them like equals," Peter said, deftly turning the conversation back over to a comfortable subject. "I mean, they're scum, sure, but they're not smart, they have no finesse, and they just started up. Maybe they've got more numbers, but we shouldn't act as if they're a full-fledged gang."

"So what are they?" Anna asked irritably. "A group of school chums that just happen to chop people up and sell drugs?
