Rashta rolled her eyes. "Why does it matter? Because if one of us wanted to tell on you, we'd need a name!" she stated saying it like, she would say, 'cheese is food.' It was a ddduuuuhhhh type of thing to say. Rashta held up a finger, "But seeing as how you might have brain damage, I wont tell if you wont tell," she said, trying to sound brave. Watching the blood trickle, the teen felt like hurling--it was disgusting! It was crazy, and Rashta felt a pull toward him. She was the type of girl who liked to help, and even watching her potential murderer, she felt the urge to help. He obviously wasn't playing possum and faking a bloody wound... was impossible. The naturally kind part of Rashta freaked out.

"Do you need medical attention?" Rashta asked. Instead of just saying help, or a doctor she used an official sounding term. That was one of her odd quirks, in times of high stress she got all official and her tone of voice was clipped and professional. Rashta would make a good business person one day. Sighing she jumped as the two girls hit the wall of a building. Rashta eased Addie's weight off of her, and stepped forward as though to help. Stupid, stupid, stupid! her head chanted. Rashta just had to ignore it, she didn't know much about the human anatomy or anything doctor-ish, but blood out of the mouth couldn't be good! She stepped forward again, ignoring the more sensible voice in her head. Just a few more steps and Rashta would be within the guy, Simons reach. The thought should have scared her, but Rashta found she was in a state of shock. It didn't really matter.

Rashta breathed through her nose. Her whole throat hurt from screaming, and she was sure her voice would sound like a raspy old-mans the next day. Not like anybody payed enough attention to her to notice the sudden change in her voice (which Rashta knew would somehow make people even more afraid of her) She backed up, finally turning around to help Addie out. Turning the way Addison's house was, she closed her eyes a moment. A wave of nausea combined with her pounding head-ache and tired bones, made Rashta want to sit down on the street and never get up. She was exhausted and just wanted to get home. First help Addie...

Then the image of Simon's bloody shirt was stuck in her head. Served the boy right, but she still felt a tad bad. But its survival of the fittest, Rashta thought, disturbed by the Hunger Games-esk edge her thoughts had taken. Survivor-Mode was scary! She shook her head. Rashta felt like she should say something to Addie, but there was nothing left for her to say. Tired, and shocked she started to walk toward this new potential-friends house. What a night... hadn't Rashta just been walking around, minding her business about ten minutes ago? It was all his fault. Stupid boy, stupid her. The night had been ruined for three people.

Her black eyes bore into a building. Once again she felt the need to turn around and help her would-be murderer, but managed to get a grip on common sense. Addie was hurt too. Rashta vaguely remembered hearing something about head-wounds (including mouth wounds) and a lot of blood. It would be a huge mess, but Simon would most likely live through the night. No need to be afraid or upset. If the guy died, there was one less potential-killer in District Twelve.
