Recruitment [open to potential Prestige members]

Being in charge of a criminal syndicate took work, much more than any outsider could know. There were always things to plan, underlings to deal with, information to digest, and, of course, rivals to, well, rival. It was on the last order of business that Sirius was acting now, trying to get a one-up on the Untouchables by bolstering his ranks.

Recruitment was always an interesting task for the head of the Prestige, as he always had to make the best inferences about what his recruits would want to hear. This, he was good at. In fact, Sirius almost saw it as a game.

Possibly the greatest spot to search for potential members was one of the spots where Career Tributes frequently trained. Having prepared as a Career himself, Sirius knew the best and most popular ones. It was also fortunate for him--this time--that more tributes per gender per year than could participate in the Hunger Games. This would leave several left over--as Sirius was--and without a thing to do--as he had been. Throw in the physical condition that these athletes were in and you had the perfect candidate for the Prestige.

This time, Sirius had come with Or'nri, his second-in-command. Second opinions were sometimes helpful, and, if for some reason the Careers got agitated and became hostile, it was nice to have back up. Sirius wanted to book at least two new recruits, but he'd take what he could get.
