The sun shifted behind the clouds, casting shadows on the pavement as Mason did his morning run. He liked running, it helped him concentrate, especially when he had a girl on his mind. Gracie, his girl, he had a lot to think about. She was perfection, all of her. He smiled, thinking about her made him feel very happy.

As he ran through the park, he came across the girl on his mind with her nose in a book. He decided to surprise her and circled around her, not letting her see the fact that he was there. He came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "hey Babe" he said in her ear.

He smiled, knowing what a book worm Gracie was. She closed the book as she patted the spot beside her. "How about you come sit down?" she said. He sat down beside her and put an arm around her. "I am sure you deserve a little break from your run, no?" She said. He nodded, leaning back. He was warm from the run, the sun shining on him wasn't really helping. He looked over at Gracie, smiling warmly. He let his heart rate settle down from his run and allowed himself to cool down. "So, what are you up to today beautiful?" he asked, looking at her.

The weather was cooler than it had been for the past few weeks. He smiled, enjoying the cooler breeze that brushed through his hair. He was happy for the moment. How could he not be, he was with Gracie, the girl he was in love with. He turned to her, looking at her in profile. "I have nothing planned to do today. You are welcome to join me on my do nothing day if you would like." She said. To Maon, that sounded like an excellent idea. "That sounds like a great idea, I don't really have any other plans other than showering because I'm a little sweaty" He replied, looking at his t-shirt. He knew he probably needed a shower and he must not smell that great. He looked at Gracie. "would you like to come over for a bit?" he asked, smiling.

He stood up, looking at her as she replied. "Well, yes, that would do you some good" she said, laughing and punching him lightly. He loved her laugh, it just seemed so full of warmth and joy. He laughed too. "I would enjoy that. But there is one problem...I am much to lazy today to get up off this bench." she said. Mason smiled mischievously and with a wink, picked her up into his arms. "I will carry you then, one way or another, you are coming over just saying" he said, chuckling. He looked at Gracie and felt her warm in his arms. What I wouldn't do for you he thought, still holding her. He wanted to kiss her but he wasn't sure if now was the right time, he'd kissed a few girls in his life but none like Gracie, she was like a light to moth. He smiled down at her, starting to carry her towards his place

A smile pulls at the edges of his lips as Gracie fakes protest. He laughs. "you put me down Mason Redwood" she said. He laughed and continued carrying her. "No, I refuse to put you down, until we get back to my place I am not putting you down" he said, his dark eyes sparkling with joy. She felt nice in his arms, comfortable.

As he climbed the steps to his house, he put Gracie down while he fished for his keys in his pocket. "There they are" He said, producing the keys to his home. He unlocked the door and led them inside. Then he walked into the living room. "I will be right back, clean and smelling fresh" He said, turning to head up to the shower he needed.

He went upstairs after leaving Gracie on the couch and turned on the shower. The warm water refreshing after his run. He washed his hair and his body before stepping out of the shower and wrapping a towel around himself. Then he went into his room and got dressed, trying to decide what to wear. What to wear he had no idea until he found a pair of shorts and a t-shirt that was suitable for the weather. Once he was dressed, he headed back downstairs.

He found Gracie still lying on the couch and went to sit with her, he took her head in his lap and looked down at her. "Better?" He asked, a chuckle in his voice. He was crazy about her of course, but he hadn't done one thing yet, he hadn't kissed her.

Gracie took a dramatic whiff of him and he chuckled. "You smell like...Roses" She laughed and he reveled in the sound of her laugh. He liked it when she laughed, it was so full of life. He looked down at her, his eyes full of love and on instinct, he bent down and kissed her, not long, but long enough to spark his desire. He smiled, looking at her. She is amazing he thought, smiling down at her. He wished they could just sit there like that forever. That was when it started raining outside. Now we have an excuse to stay inside he thought, feeling happiness rush through him.

OOC: Lets see if things go from here or not Sorry it's so short, I'm willing my Mason muse to flow and I'm willing your Grace muse to flow it doesn't appear to be working though.
