Sarah Starling
(The Girl Who Has That Smile)

Appearance:

Hi everyone! It's me Sarah! First off I should tell you that everyone says I have a dazzling smile. It fills everyone with happiness and hope people say. When people first see me though they laugh because of my dimples from smiling to much. For some reason people find it hilarious. I have a mischievous glint in my startling green eyes which rest above a small nose. I have short blond hair, marked with streaks of brown, which runs down to my neck. I never let my hair grow farther than my shoulders. I have large white pearls as teeth inside my unnaturally pink lips. At our high school in District 3 they have a rule about no kind of makeup on so you can see me often getting called out because it looks as if I'm wearing lipstick.

When I get afraid, angry, or nervous I start to stutter and in some parts I get high pitched. I pinch my self on my hand to stop my from doing that so I have pinch marks on my hand most of the time. My regular voice is a bit nasaly and it's still high pitched.

I have pale white skin stretched tight over my body getting sunburnt easily. My skin is often marked by the sun during the summer. I was born with a birthmark of a moon on my knee, and I cover it up because it feels weird to have a birth mark in exactly the shape of a crescent moon. I never wear anything which goes above my knees. Even at school where all the other girls wear small outfits I wear dresses like the ones we would wear in preschool. You can see people make fun of it in school.

Personality:

I know that I stutter a lot and I hate that. I don't like much about myself actually. I always see something wrong with myself and I hate that thing then. Let me rephrase that. I hate myself when I find something wrong. Even though I hate myself a lot I am intelligent and smart. I get As in all my hard D3 classes at school. Most people say that I'm humble at that I am. Well, actually they say it with sarcasm. I have been getting good at noticing sarcasm for some reason.

Most people treat me as if I was stupid even though I'm smart. Well, smart in the sense that I seem to have a natural talent with computers. I blurt stuff out and often reveal stuff I don't want to by accident. After I blurt something out I try to cover it up, but then I speak really fast and no one understands me. I hate it when people remember what I said and they delve deeper. I hate explaining stuff.

I do stuff without thinking a lot. I am persistent and irrational. I keep going and going on something even if it's not very good. I am also a bit pushy and often regret things later. I don't really think ahead.

I care deeply for everyone around. I respect them, but I don't listen sometimes. Even if someone is mean, rude, or bullies me I think it's best to mostly treat them with courtesy.

Even though I am strong mentally I'm not physically. I can stand up to teasing, and I'm fine with that. Though I can't lift anything heavy, and I'm the 3rd slowest runner in my school.

History:

I have had a relatively easy life. Besides all the bullying and teasing my family is quite rich and I have mostly anything I want. One hard thing is that my mother died when I was 6 years old, and every night I still go up to my room and cry for her. She died after giving birth to my sister. My sister was to frail and weak, and she died a week after she was born in the hospital. My father feels bad because he thought if he invested more money in medicine for my sister she would have lived.

That is why I can get anything I wanted.

When I was 5 my dad sent me to regular elementary school. I started off there not very smart, but eventually grew to love it there and I started to love studying. I never really had anything better to do because at home I was alone because my father would be at work, and when he wasn't he locked himself up in his room, sullen.

As I grew older my classes hardened and I study more and became really interested in what we did. I started to read more and I eventually became one of the smartest kids in school. In middle school I was introduced to a new topic which became my favorite thing to do afterwards, coding. I started to code a lot of program's on my computer my father got me. In 8th grade I started working. My work was programing and inventing. Not necessarily building, but making he planes and coding the programs on computers.

I will never be one of the popular kids at school, but I will be myself.
