Warped, unusual, just plain odd, all these words have been used to describe Megan frankly because they are true. It starts with her hair long and red but constantly unkempt and knotted all the way down to where it ends just above her lower back. Next it's her skin,it is the typical skin coloration of the district however it is also covered in a vast sea of freckles. Another thing people find very odd is her frightening black eyes that seem to stare deep into the hallows of your entity and chill you to the bone. Other than these things though she is utterly the same as everyone else; same typical regular sized ears, regular nose, only about five foot eleven inches tall, and about one hundred and ten pounds. However, they are wrong she is far from normal for under her always, always long sleeved shirts hide numerous bruises all self inflicted.
Due to these bruises she always wears long shirts or sweaters even on the hottest of days. On occasion she will where skirts or long sleeved dressed but other than that she wears strictly jeans or long pants as well. However, there are two things about her style she goes insane about and they are her hats and shoes. She always wears the most unique and stunning hats she can find or buy. Whether it be a simple sun hat to a multicolored striped top hat she is always wearing a hat even when sleeping! Her shoes are the same story, completely mixed and original all the way from work shoes to breathtaking high heels. However, she knows she could never have all these wonderful things if her father didn't own a well known and loved clothing store in which he has the main factory in eight and the main shop in no other than crazy city, the capitol.
Personality:
Her personality is probably the most odd and frightful thing about her. One major thing that only one person knows of is the fact she is intrigued by the way the human body changes colors when injured. Due to this whenever she gets the chance and she is alone she forces herself to bruise just so she can watch the change of the color of her skin. She isn't sure where exactly her craze originated from but one thing she does no is that it isn't going away anytime soon since its only been growing. However, her curiosity has begun driving her towards another interest about the human body one slightly harder to observe, the color of peoples irises. At school she will find herself constantly tuning about people talking to her as her colorless black eyes stare intently at the others oh so beautifully colored eyes. In fact, she has even begun pondering about if she should secretly begin collecting some and create a collection.
People have called her insane and a nut job numerous times but she doesn't care in fact she agrees with them. She has little to no friends because she is highly socially awkward since she always seems to be focused on other things; hmm wonder what those things could be. However, the few friends she does have she loves fully and would do anything and everything to protect them even possibly volunteering for the Hunger Games. Even though the games are by far her biggest fear since she has been scarred by them since she was just a young girl. Other than the games and dying she really has no fear which makes her very reckless and foolish.
Megan is a free spirit, she hasn't let anyone stop her from achieving something she has wanted. This gives rise to her biggest flaw she is highly rebellious especially to peace keepers. They have tried before to stop her from going somewhere and she has struck them before because of it so it is due to this she is constantly carefully watched. Lastly, she is not afraid to speak her mind ever if she thinks something is awful or she hates you she will tell you with ease. Overall, people who have met her speak nervously about her, they can't get over the fact that there is something off and twisted about her.
History:
Megan has had a life most people in Panem would kill for and have killed for before to have. Her father, Reginald Vossan, owns a massively successful clothing shop in the capitol known as Vossan's Clothing Varieties. Due to this she has always lived in a nice home with many luxurious things and she always could have everything she desired. Also to help her cause she is Daddy's little girl being the second to youngest with three other brothers, Charles, Pinto, and Rudi. Her older brothers Charles and Pinto both constantly pick on and tease Megan so she has grown quite nullified to them over her sixteen years. As for Rudi however, she absolutely adores him because he is kind, playful, and innocent. Since he is only seven she constantly is left at home while her parents are away at the capitol to watch him and she loves it cause they have genuine fun.
Megan's mother, Fontasia Vossan, is Megan's absolute best friend in the world. She feels that if anything ever goes wrong or she just really needs someone to talk to her mother is there for her. Needless to say the feeling is mutral between Fontasia as well. As for real friends though, Megan has exactly two: Madelyn and Tori. Madelyn's family and Megan's family have known each other since the day Megan's father open his company. Basically Madelyn is like the sister Megan never had and she knows that Madelyn would never judge her but instead support her until the very end. Due to this Madelyn is the only person who knows about Megan's odd hobbies. Tori is another story, she and Megan met at school when they were both seven. They were both sitting alone on opposite corners of the school yard watching all the others play when Tori walked over and sat next to Megan. "Eh who needs them anyway, right? They are just boring normal kids but I think you're different aren't you." Tori told Megan and Megan nodded then said "We can be friends right? Cause i don't think you are like them either." They both laughed and ever since that day they have been thick as thieves. They do everything together even if they know one is doomed then they are both doomed together.
However, straying away from all things friendly and nice there is a far more peculiar tale to be tolled about a girl and her fascination about colors. It all really started when Megan was about nine years old, she was looking in a mirror with her mother when she noticed her dark deadly eyes compared to her mothers vibrant hazel eyes. She asked her mother why the colors were like that and her mother told her that is is just how the body works like when you get bruises. What Megan's mother didn't realize that statement lit the spark that started the fire of Megan's curiosity. It wasn't until she was almost eleven that she began giving herself the bruises to watch their colors. Once she started though it was like smoking to her she couldn't control herself every time a new skin spot opened up again she rebruised it all over again. Everything would have been fine if she had stayed with bruises however, her curiosity returned to the thing that started the fire, the human iris. She has been controlling herself to the best of her ability but she always gets what she wants or at least she has and since her mind is set on starting her collection its only a matter of time until it really begins.
