T Y B A L T C A P U L E T

Ty's dark eyes gazed about the training center, his eyes searching for something to do today that wouldn't potentially explode the place, and he finally settled upon the blades station, needing to work with a sword before he went into the arena. He hadn't held one of these in a while and now, with the smooth metal fitting into the palm of his calloused hand, he felt at home. He swung it a few times, testing the weight before he swung at a dummy, decapitating it in one blow. He'd forgotten how good it felt to wield a blade. Ever since Juliet had turned sixteen, he'd spent less time at the training center than he probably should have because with that bastard Romeo now trailing Juliet, he had to keep her safe.

He found himself lost in thought as he hacked away at the dummies, taking off limbs and slicing them to ribbons that he didn't realize he'd lost track of time. Before he knew it, the bell for lunch sounded and he finally snapped out of his thoughts, putting the sword back on the rack as he headed towards the lunch area, still in a bit of a daze. Where the hell had that come from? I wonder what's for lunch today he wondered as he headed to the food carts and filled his plate with something. He didn't really pay much attention to it as he scanned the area, searching for a certain girl from six.

	Circe had spent the morning refining her first aid skills. It was tedious but necessary. She didn't need to prove to the trainers that she could bind a fractured wrist or stitch a gushing wound. She needed to prove it to herself. So she made the rounds, checked the station off her list. For how little she exerted herself, she was surprisingly hungry by the time the chow bell rang. She was halfway to the dining hall before she realized she still had a bandage wrapped around her wrist. Circe slid a finger beneath the fabric, ready to rip it, before she thought the better of it. For today, it would be her token, a little proof that she could mend things as easily as break them. She focused mainly on the salad bar, loading up on greens, with grilled chicken and a pesto dressing. She grabbed a glass of water, then turned slowly towards the tables. She hated unorganized dining affairs. There ought to be place cards and a sense of hierarchy. Without it, Elya ended up with whispering in Gunner's ear, while she tried to pull three words out of Orion's puckered mouth. She really wasn't in the mood. But where would she go instead? Certainly not to the band of middle districts. Not to Kirito; she'd already spent an unfathomable amount of time with the boy from Eleven, and to what end? The salad plate was suddenly too heavy for her bandaged wrist. She needed to make a decision. Another tribute paused at her side. She glanced at him, rolled her eyes. "I didn't know anyone could like ribs that much, Tybalt Capulet. Or do you have a vendetta against pigs?"
