A P P E A R A N C E

Now, not only I have the best athletic ability of all the family; I have the best looks. I am at medium height, meaning I at can probably live up to anyones expectations. Because I'm taller than some, and shorter than others. I stand at a 5'9, and I weigh 175 pounds. I have a medium build, though that doesn't matter when it comes from my dashing looks. I have short brown hair that I normally have styled up and to the side in a wavy type of look. My brown eyes are light, but most of the times that's what the boys find most attractive. I have a light tanned skin tone, not that dark but not that light.

I have small ears. Like, I honestly question why they're so small sometimes and they're covered up by my hair sometimes. Which I don't mind particularly much, don't get me wrong because I absolutely despise having my ears be seen. My skin is somewhat oily, not really smooth and it kind of feels greasy sometimes. The hair I own is also sometimes very greasy by its appearance, but trust me, it's not greasy at all. I shower everyday; don't worry. Though I don't want that image in your head, because why imagine it when you can see the real thing? All you gotta do is ask.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

I have never been one to believe in luck. Nothing is luck, and everything is skill. There is no such thing as miracles, either. If you have to "believe" to get what you want, you're pathetic in my books. I mean, a mixture of both skill and faith is okay, but just relying on luck is never going to get people to places they want to go to. Because your luck could run out at any time, and then you're basically fucked until someone with skill comes to rescue you.

Once upon a time, I used to have faith. I used to believe that there was no skill and everything was luck. Whenever Mom and Dad put us in "friendly" competitions, I would always just keep hoping that something good would happen and I would win, but I never did until I actually gave up on faith and believing. I had to take it into my own hands, do my own work alone. And after all that exercise and practicing to acquire skill, I got it. I won a lot more, and even when I tried to get a mixture of both, I once again lowered down again. Skill is the only thing you need to win.

I keep to myself most of the time. Usually, I'm a brick wall that is barricaded so well nobody can truly get me to feel emotion. Not once since I was little have I cried over anything. Not even losing when I thought that I was going to win. Nobody is even close to knocking down the wall yet. It's honestly a ~~pen in the is~~ pain in the ass when people try and break down the wall. They so desperately try and pry it open, and it hurts a bit when they give up. They aren't giving me the opportunity to show them how strong and thick my walls are.

Lastly, sometimes I may sound sad or upset, but really that's just my normal tone all the time. It irritates me when I have to talk to new people and they ask me "What's wrong?" right off the bat. Even if I were to show feeling about someone or something, I would never tell anyone. Telling people would show weakness, and weakness, in my opinion, burns out your skill.

H I S T O R Y

Ever since I was a little boy, I was pelted with competition from my older cousins. I was only a little kid, with several little brothers and sisters, but I was the only one in my family that could compete for all the attention a little boy could ask for. My father's family was obsessed with competition and the feeling of winning ever since they were kids, too, so they decided to carry on the tradition. I couldn't be happier to carry on the tradition because my father definitely carried on the genes of being able to win.

However, I was never successful in comparison to my older cousins. Even though I was several years younger than them, they made us all compete together, no matter what age (besides the little kids, my father had the latest start to having kids out of his siblings, so we're all younger). Even as I grew older (maybe two years... but we had these competitions monthly at least) and stronger, I could never quite put my finger on how they did it. How they never stopped losing. I always crossed my fingers, kept a spoon near me, or even do something to cause bad luck, but the winning was always so far out of reach.

"Daddy?"

{"Yes, Dick?"}

"How come I never win?"

{"Well, you have to do more than just hope."}

"What do you mean by that? Can I help others lose instead of trying to win"

{"No. Try eating more food than you do, exercise, become more active."}

It always confused me when Daddy gave me pep talks like that. Mother always distanced herself when Daddy tried to get us to win, even if we never did. Our branch of the family tree was the one decaying, the loose branch that isn't as strong and healthy as the others. {"Just win for once... that's all I ask. Go and do some exercise instead of your chores, Dick. Make sure you're ready to fly up to the top and win."} That was the second time he suggested I should try and ensure I win rather than just hope.

So I did just that. I did the push-ups, the sit-ups, all of the ups. However, I didn't follow the order to not do chores, but I did do things to help benefit, carrying heavy items in and out of the house instead of my brothers and sisters, who were still under reaping age. I was, what, twelve or thirteen maybe?

That same cold November, early in the day, we were doing sprints. It was in my aunt's huge backyard which her rather wealthy husband allowed us to use. They did a lot less to stay afloat than us, and that made them healthier. They still hardly won because of my uncle's... well... whatever the hell he does to make sure his kids win. 75 meter sprinting, 15 meters one way 4 times and 15 meters back the other 3 times. Dad looked me straight in the eye and he spoke. I remember the exact words he said.

{"Fucking win for your Daddy. You'll be our little champion.."}

I really wanted to please my win hunger Father, and that's what I did. The first time ever my Dad's family had won. He looked me in the dead center of my eyes, and I looked back into his, the blue eyes of his seemed to be brighter, happier.

{"Let's keep the winning goin', Champ."} He gave me the old pat on the shoulder and I smiled. I did just that, continuing to work hard and stay active. My siblings, well, some of them have success, some of them not at all, but I still think I'm the best of the best. The feeling of winning is the best thing, y'know? You're no longer the loser, you actually get to be the best of the best at something, at least for a little while. I couldn't be any happier to be a winner.

Oh, and one last rule.

Rule #1: Don't ever use the dick's name in vain. And if you do, ~~and you're a boy, you'll never have one again~~ you'll be sorry.
