Seeping effortlessly, slithering into each tight crevice that resides on her fingertips. She's uncaring to whose blood draws, painting the ground with a deep, dark, crimson. Words from deep within manage to escape the caged bars and spit like fire from her lips.


Playing dirty to get her ahead in life, she is untouched by mere morals that hold society together. Aggression hold in her pitch pupils that replace her soul, and with even a very slight tap, turns gold to coal. Chaos lights like a fire, ready to burn down and destroy everything in its raging path. A fire set in her heart, only to do more bad, than good, but she puts lives on the line for fun and game.

The once bastard of a peacekeeper whose life she put on the very edge of a crumbling cliff top. Kicking his finger tips as they begged for forgiveness and for mercy, but she doesn't give second chances. Putting people's lives in danger has been her forte ever since the womb, starting with her fathers. Pebbles slipped and fell around him and the silence broke with a-

"Please, please don't be true!
Please give me a second chance!
It was a mistake!"

Her lips curled and the day was silent and still for a few moments, nothing else mattered until the results were uttered by the voice of a girl who hadn't even entered the world. A malicious smirk grew across her face and even though she was nothing made of yet, she still haunted dreams and nightmares of the young and foolish.

"I don't fucking give second chances."

With the wave of her hand she drew her long, brunette hair behind her shoulder. A shimmer of her tan skin twinkled in the sunlight, pristine and to absolute perfection. One solid gaze of her hazel eyes into his and it was over, the smirk had dropped and her foot made its mark in place. Stepping it forward she dug them into his fingers, until a scream filled the air and the young boys finger tip imprints were all that remained.


The scream distorted and once the young boy caught a glimpse of a girl who looked almost identical to him, he knew it was true. His screams twisted into the reality as he awoke from his nightmare in the middle of the night.


It was a tale of two cities.
Born of a young woman and a young man, both beautiful and dreamy but both foolish. Residing in District Eight her whole life, her mother was the girl every guy dreamed of being with. She wasn't an easy apple to pick, for her stem held onto the tree, seemingly unable to break from the guard that was put around her. She was untouchable.


A young man on patrol as a peacekeeper, coming from District Two to live in Eight while on duty. It was a cliche, but truly love at first sight. And after few months it was one that resulted in the birth of a baby girl, by the name of Charlotte. And most people saw it as fine and well, the new found family, however they didn't know the young man had no choice but to retire from his position, once they'd both found out. For peacekeepers aren't allowed to have children. And as a result of punishment for a child never wanted, he is to reside in District Eight, and raise it rightfully as his own.


Growing up as a child, Charlotte was forced into gaining the mindset of a Career, just like the kids of One, Two and Four. Her father always wanted a child who was capable of becoming a victor, never thinking that he'd end up with one from the Outer District's. She put a ripple in his life plans, and not once did it ever dawn on her, or make her feel remorse for being born. Simply because she ruined others lives for fun and game.


Before becoming a peacekeeper, her father trained as a career his whole life, moving onto training at the academy alongside his training for the games, at the age of sixteen. Setting the intricate technique's of combat and war into Charlotte's mind as she aged on up, she became more and more advanced at fighting. However, it never crossed his mind. Being one of the only children born to a career parent, who disobeyed his principle's, she had an advantage over the other children of the district. And for that, she took that into her own hands, and set intimidation and fear into the minds of those who crossed her bad side.


[The tip of her two fingers traced the boys jawline up to his brow, as she flicked a drop of sweat from it. Steadily and slowly moving gracefully to the center of the boys wrinkled forehead as he furrowed his brows. Charlotte bites her bottom lip gently, her eyes graze around the boys face as her index and middle finger hold set on him. Thumb stuck out, while her ring and pinkie fold inward, she presses her "loaded revolver" to his forehead.

"Nice necklace."

The smirk forms along her gentle, plush lips and she loosens her bite. Shifting her head to the side only a bit, her hazel eyes pierce his. Her body loosens just a little, but her fingers hold stiff to his forehead as she pushes the boy against a wall.

"I count six shots."

"Run it."

*Bang*

The terrified boy places the necklace in her hand, then she laughs and lets him go. Holding it up as though it was a religious offering to her, she stuffs it in her pocket.]
