I dreamed of her; I dreamed of paradise. I thought I lost her in a darkness that came over me, that reigned for over a year. But I've found her, in the randomness of pure chance- or perhaps it is fated that we would meet again, that my dreams would materialized before me.

I dreamed of her; I dreamed of paradise. I was having a nightmare, but she took my hand and pulled me out of it. Her voice was an embrace- her arms wrapped around me like a blanket. I remember its sound, so clearly. It is like the ring of a silver bell. I nearly jumped out of my own skin when I saw her, but when she spoke, my heartbeat slowed and light punched through the darkness-

and I was not afraid anymore.

I dreamed of her and I found her.

My sneakers are riddled with grime from kicking up dust on the road as I bolted home to spread the news of my encounter with the sister we lost. When I breath, deeply, heavily, it feels like the air is dream clouds.

Manic cries reach out to the first face I see.
