Atticus Manor

The pain continues to crawl around in my head as if there were insects multiplying and travelling through my mind. My heartbeat continues to accelerate, trying to get the white blood cells to assist me in my injuries. But man, it hurts like hell. I guess the five people who have died so far have gotten in worse, but I still have a right to complain. Many of them could've died quickly, without suffering, without pain. But the longer we live through the hell hole, the more pain we're going to receive. And it will continue to snowball until we cannot carry it's burden any longer. Nineteen of us are still carrying the burden of pain, and only one will never find peace. Although it would be amazing to live through all this, I do not really know if I'd be able to hold through the pain.

As there's only one of the bizarre mutts left, we all attacked him. With the force of four people who have had great success the past two days, we took it down. Finally the fight was over. A mutt's story was never supposed to be long, anyway. They're just distractions made by the gamemakers in hopes to take us down, to make us crack. They don't want the Games to go on forever, but by the looks of it, it could very well be the longest one in ages.

But as Sol finished off the mutt, I didn't hesitate to prepare to flee, hoping that my friends and I could find a way to make sure we were all prepared for the days to come.

Atticus made his first kill on his birthday.

He had taken a life (If you considered those things alive) on what was suppose to be the day he turned a man. She stared at him, with sweat running down his face as the storm above grew. He was different. She knew he really had not changed. His eyes: still blue. His hair: still brown. But oh how days, hours, minutes, seconds, could change a person and these moments changed them greatly.

The skeletons disintegrated soon after the deed was done. They were reduced to ashes, even their swords disappearing into the muddy landscape. They were gone, just like Carrot, Lemi, Andith, Quarry, Dolly Boom! and whoever that poor sucker was.

They were gone from the world

Death had swooped down for them without a second thought, and yet, she still had the gall to believe that her friends would be okay. She sucked up her gut and said again and again internally 'We'll be okay. We'll be okay. O k a y.'

But she looked at Atticus and knew they wouldn't be. He looked sickly, and she immediately started towards him. She grabbed him by the shoulder and began to walk away from the horrors disappearing behind them. She opened her mouth, and gently feed him lies like a mother feeds a child.

Astrid Shaw

The bones clatter to the ground, one finaly swing from one of the boys and Astrid exhales softly, not quite realsing yet that she is bleeding. Her brow furrows as the stinging sensations bubbles up from within, burning at the surface of her flesh as a soft breeze blows through the arena. Astrid hisses, poking the pile of bones with the blunt end of her spear, her soft blue eyed turned gaze turned into a scowl.

"silly bones." she said, a tinge of sadness in her voice as the blood trickles down her forearm, creating a pathway through the dried and dirty mud which clings to her soft skin. Her scowled gaze moves gently from the bonie bodies to her friends. All of who'm have injuries of their own. Her lips pout in debate before she opens her mouth an speaks "...theres rather a lot of blood for just a game" her hands move ina flittering motion, as if batting away flies, around her head. The voices are whispering again, they fill the silent humm of the arena, to everyone else the world is still but to Astrid?

The world is becoming a blaze and there is nothing they can do to stop it.
