Wine really works wonders when you have a shitty day. Perhaps it wasn't the smartest idea to drink before a match that day — but, whatever. I can laugh when my parents scold my for losing.

The Career academy has a fighting rink in one of its training rooms, with windows so that outsiders in the hallway can watch. I'm standing in the rink with my arms folded over my chest, but not in defiance, really. Just because I'm tired as fuck and I don't feel like doing anything else with my arms.

My opponent is fucking hot. She's blue-eyed and has dark hair and full brows, with a pretty face to tie it all together. I would bang her, I think to myself. She's probably going to beat my ass, though, because I don't know how well I can fight drunk. I shrug. Whatever, it's not like I care that much, anyway, though it's a nice feeling to win.

Being drunk off of red wine is not not the right state of mind, but it sure as hell is the good one.
