Practice fights are today in my class — and Mercy's class. I sigh upon the thought, hoping that they won't pair us together. She's my sister, and when it comes down to it, sure I love her.

But I'd like to avoid engaging with her just to evade conflict. Mercy Granger is chaos, something I do not often wish to entangle myself with. Because once chaos has gone you by the hand, you'll be pulled into the storm.

"Alright girls, I want a clean match. It's only practice, so don't get too serious about it," says the trainer running the class today. "First up! Lilla Granger versus Mercy Granger!"

I groan internally. It's a good thing I have self control, otherwise I'd be rolling my eyes all the way to the back of my skull by now. Reluctantly, I enter the rink with my sister, each of us on opposite sides.

"If you try to give me a black eye, I'll kill you," I warn her, trying to make my voice sound light and joking.
