mutts and mayhem {briar/blitz}

I stare angrily at the list of mutt upon mutt upon mutt. Swiping the screen and scrolling past each mutt that has been revealed in the games previous, their weaknesses, their strengths, what food they like. It wasn't necessary anyways, if I met any of the things on this tablet I would probably die instantly. Nakom's, Flemeth, I don't even know what I could even begin to expect in these games.
I sigh as I scroll past a particularly deadly looking one, and the list of tribute's it's killed was, well, monstrous. I shiver as I scroll past the Cornucopia mutt, just when you think what's giving you items is safe. I guess it is a forewarning not trust anything in the arena.
I turn to see who's next to me, it's the girl from district ten, the livestock district. "Hey," I say at an attempt to be jovial even though we will probably be trying to kill each other in a day, "You're from district ten, right? Know anything about animals? I'm trying to figure out what to do if I come near one of these beasts." I gesture towards the tablet with the huge list of mutts emblazoned on the screen.
