It was exhausting to be living two lives at once. Bastian had found himself deeply implanted into the life as a criminal and a legend. He carried the Fray name as if it meant little to him, and it wasn't until he found his own place within the district that he finally accepted the it. Like he told himself often ; to be a Fray was not to be born into it, but from it. Today was one of those days where the Fray name was being used for those within his own family ; not outside of it.
With a swift run through the district, Bastian dove into the side hallway of the training hall, coming face-to-face with Achilles. He seemed to already be prepared for their scheduled session, frustrated at himself for running so late. "Sorry, I had a long night." It was all he could muster out as an excuse before changing quickly into something more appropriate.
"I am afraid you won't be leaving unscathed today, dear cousin." Bastian grabbed the first wooden sword from the wall, swinging it in large circles as he glanced over his shoulder at Achilles. "Which one of us shall be reaped next? Who dares to volunteer? Which one of us is truly worthy?" With that question, he rolled his next to loosen the muscles before getting into a proper stance. "Will you strike first or me?"
