Perfection comes at a sacrifice, that is what her mother has always preached to her. But at what cost? Andromeda studies herself in the mirror and notices that her eyebrows do not match. She toiled all day in her appearance only for something to be off. While other people say that it is natural to have eyebrows that are not the same shape, to her mother it is a form of imperfection. It is a manifestation of fault and flaw, proof of failure and ineptitude, for as long as one is not perfect in appearance, mannerisms, attitude, and in our actions, then what is the point of even trying?

Even her namesake speaks of perfection, Andromeda, a woman, immortalized among the stars, so the old tomes say. Ever since she discovered the clandestine literature, she has sacrificed one life for another. She would instead exchange her perfection for her humanity, for unlike her mother, she realizes that perfection can never exist, at least not in humans, and not in Panem. So she maintains her crawl through the dark cloak of night, knowing the consequences of her actions if she is ever caught, but as her mother always said, perfection comes at a sacrifice.
