When I was four, I was told I was an Angevin and to be strong willed.

When I was seven, I stood up against those who tried harm me. I didn't let them knock me down and I was the first to swing.

At ten, I was framed by girls that were close to me because I threatened their upbringing. They sought to bring me down.

On my thirteenth birthday, I became a woman, but I had no intention to act like one. Momma didn't understand I felt less inclined to be pretty but more practical. Also found out that I echoed my ancestor's spirit, my great great aunt Avonlea.

Age fourteen, a neighbor thought it would be funny to dare me to challenge the keeper's watch on the fence line. I couldn't get back home in time for dinner.

Since I turned fifteen, my parents watch me as if I'm a ticking timebomb. My siblings whisper that I'm a menace. My friends know who to come to if there's issues but I'm the one that the keepers fear with knuckles of brass.
