I still believe that there is good in the world. Does that make me bad, gullible? Does it make me stupid for believing in good?

I've always been the Good in our family... Hellion was always considered the bad. It was almost like our parents wanted it to be that way, too, with our names. Her being named Hell and me being named Angel, it felt like an invisible wall. For some reason, your name is what precedes you. Hellion was always the girl who would be caught stealing bread; I was the boy that would be seen giving it. She always took, I always gave.

However, she's not the same anymore. She died. Literally. She died. But she's here again, and maybe that's what changed her. After she came back from the Games, there was always this light air in the room that would choke you from speaking. Mom felt it. Dad felt it. Interesting how they laughed in her face in her first life, they hid from it the second one. She moved out. So now it's the parents and I.

It's weird without here here now too. I've always been there to watch her. To see her. Inspect her movements and know that it "wasn't good", because according to Mom and Dad, Heaven should never follow Hell. I always would watch her. I always wanted to be her friend, but Hellion never wanted to be mine. "It's the devil speaking... she doesn't want you" Mom would remark.


I wanted the good in the world. I wanted to be there for her, to say sorry to her, to give her the hug she never got when she returned. I wanted to be the light in Hellion's world, but she gave me darkness.

I still see the good in the world, but can only hope for it to come into Hellion's.
