happy birthday twerp!! i really can't believe you're 13 already. practically a grown up if you ask me.

if ted got this one to you on time, then i'll have been gone for a whole month today. time sure does fly, huh? i'm sure you're still growing like a weed (and eating all your vegetables right??). you'll probably even be taller than me soon. but don't forget you'll always be the baby, no matter how big you get.

anyways, i know it's hard, but try to be good for mom and dad, alright? the doc too, they're all trying their best. just do what they say, take your meds, make sure you stay out of trouble and all that, you know the drill. and when you're all better, we'll go back home and hide in one of those blanket forts we used to always make until school starts again. promise.

you know i hated having to leave, but the internship is actually going okay, our new test trials are almost done and so far, the results have all been pretty positive. i think this batch is really gonna help a lot of people. i'll talk to the big guys about getting some over to you soon. things are starting to slow down now too, enough that i might finally be able to come visit next week. i'll try real hard alright? don't grow up too much without me.
