1st Alliance in the Dragon Tooth Mountains

The 1st alliance to ascend the Dragon Tooth Mountains will find the path to the summit littered with warnings. There are signs scrawled with lyrical deterrents like, “TURN BACK NOW!” and “DEAD END”! But these will hardly dissuade those who have come so far. The craggy rocks and clear pathway give way to a chaotic primal landscape. The smoke, which had seemed vaguely charming down below, coils around their thighs, hips, chests – climbing ever higher, reaching for their very lungs.

“Stay,” it seems to plead, but the clever tribute will know better than to trust an arena mirage. Part way up the mountain, the tributes stumble. There’s other bones - the mountains themselves are dragon bones - but this pile seems different. This pile seems familiar.

The tributes discover the remains of a recently deceased tribute or deceased mutt, at the Gamemakers’ discretion. If no death has occurred, the Gamemakers may substitute in something else.
