Welcome Tributes, Spectators, and all in between!

As the start of the 91st Games approaches, we begin the festivities with the Opening Ceremony! Stylists will dress their tributes in an ensemble representing their respective districts for all of Panem to see. Be creative and draw influences from unimaginable places. Be expressive and proudly represent your district. But most importantly, designers, make it work.

OOC information:

Tributes will team up with their district partner and stylist/mentor (if applicable) to create a memorable first-look for the Capitol and the rest of Panem to see during the Tribute Parade. Entries may consist of mood boards and/or blitz posts. One person from a team can post as a representative of the rest of their team, so long as they state who helped with what, or the tributes can each post individually.

Deadline for incentive eligibility: Thursday, June 23rd

District Six: Stylish Science

Quinn and Kiptyn are dressed in white lab coats, adorned with a design of a skeleton with flowers seeming to be growing within it. On the chest of the lab coat is an embroidered, anatomically correct heart, in line with each tribute's own heart. They each wear a neon, light-up protective visor that looks like a more eccentric version (hence the lights) of what one might find in a science lab in District Six. The chariot itself is decorated with cords of neon lights that fade in and out as they shift in color from pink to orange. The horses have white fur and are covered in flowers that resemble those strewn throughout the skeleton design on the tributes' lab coats.

An homage to the canaries used in coal mines, the tributes outfits for this year reflect the life saving animal within the canary. Adorned in black, Tune and Texas's entrance into the chariot show presents the outfits as simple elegance, dark black and feathered to represent the mines Twelve is built upon. However, once they remove their mining helmets the audience is treated to a display of beauty and abundance, the black details of their outfits spewing yellow flames behind their chariot as they ride, flying through the wind just like the birds that inspired their outfits.
