Ratmas 2022: HoH Elegant vs Prefect Rook

Welcome to the first round of the Head of House/Prefect Tournament, where the HoH's of each house will be facing off against the prefects of another house in a fun OOC Just for Fun tournament! In order to advance to the next round, (a 1v1v1 of champions,) and win more points for your house, you must first win your round one fight here!

Participation is not mandatory, but is encouraged.

Just for participating, you'll get 5 house points. If you win this fight, you'll get 5 more. If you go on to win the whole thing next round, you get 10 MORE points, meaning start to finish you can win up to 20 points for your house here simply by doing a little stabby stab.

Also, both to keep things interesting and to test new combat mechanics in a friendly setting, each fighter has a special ability unique to them, designed based on the position they were given, which they'll be able to use in order to give them an edge against the other competitors.



Shield HoH Elegant ( ✌ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ )
Once per fight, in addition to attacking normally, the user may also deploy the use of their shield to block the most recent attack made against them. It MUST be the most recent attack made against the user. They cannot block attacks made against others.

Your weapon for this fight is a Flail!



Sword Prefect Rook ( rook )
Once per fight, the user may use accuracy on ANY roll they make, including non-misses. It must be rerolled immediately after posting or before attacking in another post. The user can then choose which of the two results they prefer to be the finalized result.

Your weapon for this fight is a Knife!



Both of you will start at 30 health. The first person to be reduced to 0 will lose!

There is no Initiative; turn order will be determined by the first round of combat.

There is no Turn Delay.

Fighters are expected to keep up with their own damages!

If one of you does not post, the other will automatically advance to the next round. If neither if you do, neither of you will advance!
