Exemption Event: Sparring Tournament

95th Sparring Tournament

To test the fighting abilities of tributes, the GM's will be hosting a sparring tournament during the pre-games of the 95th. Inspired by the tournaments of Ratmas as well as the 91st, we're hoping this becomes a way for you all to begin mapping out interpersonal dynamics between your character and their fellow tributes, as well as a low-stakes event that writers may participate in.

Additionally, as this is an Exemption Event, writing can be used as reasoning/evidence when applying for specific stations to be exempted as part of your tribute's chosen stations.

Exemption Possibilites:
○ Hand-to-Hand
○ Whip Proficiency
○ Rivalry
○ Justice
○ Vengeance
○ Bloodlust

Deets:
○ Blitz posts are allowed (and encouraged, for times sake), but keep in mind that there must still be sufficient writing evidence for station exemptions! Use your best judgement.
○ Tributes will have 25 HP
○ Tributes will attack twice per post
○ Sparring matches will take place in the Combat Arena in the center of the training room, outfitted with matts and barriers to minimize tribute injury (but you'll still get hurt.... lol)
○ Any weaponry is allowed. Weapons will be made of hard foam, and feel suspiciously like the real thing, yet do not cause lethal damage (wow, magic!)
○ Instas will count for 10 damage 
○ Matches will be started by the Gamemakers 
○ Damages will be reset at the start of each match 
○ If a match is not finished within a given timeframe, the tribute with the highest damage loses

Can I collect an Interaction Point?
Since you will be fighting other tributes, yes!
