[Tournament: Round Two] Bentley vs Antigone vs Roe

B E N T L E Y.

Bentley stumbles forward into the ring, tripping over his feet and landing onto the ground with a smack that echoes through the room. The axe he'd brought in with him slips out of his grasp and skids across the ground, spinning with the same ferocity that his head seemed to be. His eyes widen as it bounces up and off the platform they're standing on, turning his head to see the other two tributes he was standing with.

He pushes himself up to his feet, letting his feet pedal backwards as he cracks his knuckles in the palm of each of his hands. Bentley barely has a chance to shake them to get the nerves out of his system before he sees the boy to his left lunge towards him. A choked gasp of shock bubbles out of his throat, throwing his forearms up in front of his face as he does his best to dodge out of the way.

But the stinging sensation on his skin lets him know he was too slow, looking down as a small gash starts to ooze blood onto his skin. A sick feeling floods his stomach but he does his best to shake it, turning his eyes towards the other two waiting in the ring with him.

"No chance you all want to make this a fair fight and lose the weapons, huh?" His words are accompanied with an awkward laugh, awkwardly starting to bounce from foot to foot in an attempt to replicate what he assumes a boxer's movements would be. He knows he should lunge towards one of the two of them, but the cut along his forearm scares him from stepping closer to either of the two.

A wave of nausea fills Bentley's throat when he feels his fist connect with Antigone's face -- peeking his eyes open just in time to see Roe swinging his knife towards him once more. He staggers to the side, but the fatigue has already set in for him. His feet awkwardly stumble underneath him, causing the dagger to just barely slice across the skin on his other arm. 

The sight of blood once again makes him light-headed, the weight of the situation finally settling in for him in this tiny ring -- that only seemed to be getting smaller by the second. Bentley knows he should fight back and try to impress the tributes eagerly watching from the side, but he can't muster it in himself. The room feels like it is spinning and he has nothing to anchor himself except the two faces of his opponents.

He staggers back, using the side of the ring to hold himself up. Bentley's forearm goes up in front of his face to shield it, just hoping he can hold out long enough to outlast the other girl in the ring with him -- though he's not even really sure that he wants to.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm hiding my true skills until it really matters.. Just you  wait." He spits out with a light smirk crossing his features, though the heavy breaths that follow tell a different story.
