Such a glimmering scene. Music has been playing most of the afternoon in anticipation for the headliners of the night. People have amassed in the Capitol from every place possible, every music style imaginable, culminating in the sweet transcendence of a fabulous time, all in the name of feel good vibes.
It was polar opposite to some other universe, perhaps one where music was no longer allowed, or where the words would be so torte with depression that they were too real to be uttered. Not here. Not in this universe.
Dig was the first act of the night, aside from some openers. He sat backstage, waiting for the go ahead. The room was bright with ring lights and powdered makeup ready to be used, already used, and some empty pots discarded. While everywhere else people were getting ready rapidly as though this was some musical of great importance, Dig Rox was a calm and collected professional with a cool nature. He loved this life. It was so different to what could have been.
He'd left the door open, and would open it at a moment's notice should the announcement beckon him to the stage.
