DTT: Round Three, Kaiden v Grim v Bella

He's shocked he's made it this far.

Not that being able to win would prove anything to himself, he just didn't think that he'd care enough to do so well. He's dead, though, so it's not like the feeling of getting stabbed. It's not any feeling. He's just there. ANother finger, another head. He ended the last boy by slicing off his head - an experience that Kaiden only had from the receiving end, not doing.

The other two girls make comments about turns. As if fighting is some rotational, programmed system. What is this, a game of chess? Kaiden shook his head, raising his axe to block the one girl after the other managed to scratch his forehead.

"Shocker," he started, "my turn!"

He's just like them. Dead and fighting, for whatever reason. Kaiden looked out into the crowd and was shocked that Luja was still there. Maybe she just wanted to see him fail.

there is an unruly silence that fills the arena they stand it. people are fighting, sounds are being made. it is loud. but bella cannot hear a sound.

the blood pouring from their wounds flow, the girl that stands in front of her is sliced open. it is not a pleasant sight, bella never wanted to remember what it was like to slice into someone so deep.

she thinks of isaac jacobi

the boy takes a swing at her and she only grits her teeth. a shame in her mind, they must be tired. she is. the axe is something she is not familiar with, even now as she tears through the girl.

the blonde spits at her, her words are full of bile and confidence. bella knows this attitude all to well, she thinks of euley sarasin and violetta salazar. both powerful and prideful. the thing is, bella was never afraid of them. she was never afraid of dying to their hands. they realized that as soon as she took the life of their ally.

”words said like that can only tell me you are a career…” bella holds the axe, even though she is in pain. she promised. until the end. ”… ive killed a career before…” she holds the axe steady, focusing on both of them. ”…im not afraid to kill another.”

and she swings.
