Defend the palace (Manwe atla au)

"Go alert everyone!" I shout orders to anyone who will listen, and I stand my ground. I don't know what I'll be able to do, I'm just a boy after all, but I have to do something. I take a deep breath, and I know I need to focus, but my heart is racing. This is the biggest fight of my entire life, and I'm so afraid to know what's going to happen. This could easily be my last few moments here on earth. "Make sure the queen is safe!" It might be too late, and I know it probably is for me. I take another deep breath and I start pacing around, and that's when I see him. Zaheer. I've always been slightly afraid of him, but in this moment, I can't show it. I can't show any sort of emotions. "Where is she?" I know enough he's talking about, but I don't know where she is, and I'm sort of afraid to admit that.

Part of me wants to run, to find a place to escape to, but I can't do that right now. I know I can't keep him too long, and I know what he's capable of, and I feel my time may be drawing near. "I'll never disclose where she is. I'll fight you. You'll have to kill me." I never thought I'd say those words, and I prepare myself for a battle, but he only laughs at me. I don't know what's so funny, but I know something bad is going to happen to me. I just know that I'm doing my best, and that's all anyone can ever ask for. I know what I'm capable of doing, but I don't think I can beat him. Zaheer is much stronger than I am, but maybe that's where I have the advantage in this. Maybe that's how I can succeed. "You're pressing your luck. I don't have the time for this. I'll give you one last chance. Tell me where she is, and you'll live. If you refuse, you will die."
