annie stands at the podium, a gust of wind blows in from the ocean and all she can do brace herself for the tide. she isnt afraid of what she is about to do, in fact, this is probably the least scariest thing shes had to do.

after all, murdering other children trumps most awful things.

she looked out into the crowd, and the first person she locks eyes with is angel. he has been there for her for years, and while she cant just hire him in as her right hand man, he pretty much already acted like it.

"hello, my name is anatalia morrisen, but you guys already know that..." annie is shaking, but she knows she needed to put that beside her. "in the last five years, our district has seen a lot of changes. weve welcomed one new victor, the rose plague ravaged most of panem, new faces have come and gone..." annie is starting to pick up her stride. "but weve held steady. the rose plague didnt hinder our growth in business and health, the doctors and nurses have done well to keep everything contained and moving, and weve seen nothing but positive growth for the last five years." annie smiles. "i hope to keep it that way as mayor of this district. i ran before on the premise of bringing pride back to this district, investing in small businesses, and giving back, but now i feel there is more we can do." annie looks up and sees angel nod at her. "over the next five years, if i am re-elected, i plan on exploring the great unknown out there, as well as refocusing on our career programs here in the district." annie actually would rather not do this, but she does know being a career is important to her constituents. "i plan on investing more resources to elevate our career training programs as well as figure out how we can come together as a district to unite under the statement that we are strong." annie looks up and commands the audience. "we are fighters..." she narrows her eyes, hyperfocused. "... and we are proud to be from district four." she smiles, "thank you."

and she walks away from the podium.
