Vasco Izar

At first, he's worried that the peacekeepers have finally come to him for running his ragged little campaign for a council seat. Except instead he asks about Nekane, and he has more than just a small sense of pride upon hearing her name mentioned as a mayoral candidate.

There are many (many) Izars, but from his fifteen years in the justice building, Vasco knows there are few who could wield such a title (and some who shouldn't at all).

"I've known Nekane my whole life. She's curious but not impulsive. She's honest and hardworking. And she always does what's best for everyone, even if it might not be easy." He grins ear to ear imagining her in the little office he's spent so long in, "I'm going to work as hard as I can to let the folks of this district know she's the right choice, too."
