Aya your right, not every arena will have more than 2 area's connected, but then you can easily drop the perk. You should aslo keep the one area a day rule, but this would apply to the tributes right as they're entering the arena, fresh and healthy from eating more than they ever had before at the Capital. They should have more stamina than ever, and if they're leaving early they probably didn't do to much fighting so they should still have lots of energy for running. As for the thing where you compared the people leaving without a weapon, to the people actually leaving first, I don't understand what you mean. The people who left without attacking means they just immediatly fled, then they left first? If you mean should the sixth person who fled be able to get the advantage? No, this is for the first 3 people who fled, doesn't matter how much they attacked.

In the book Katniss blew her advantge right after the bloodbath. She slept, and she woke up next to some tribute who made fire, the careers could've tracked the fire from anywhere, that's how they got closer to her.

One more thing, I didn't intend for this to be a tool for the weak to hide. The largest edge, in my opinion, would be for a tribute who took a lot of damadge, and now doesn't have to worry about being attacked in the immediate areas around the cornacopia(which had almost as many deaths as the bloodbath in the latest games). They can wait till the day ends and have their damadge reduced.
