~{.:Mirrors Shatter Into Wings:.}~ [Day 4; Takeba]

Sweat spat out from the pores of a rapidly twisting head, turning left and right. Shivers formed along the arms that writhed to imaginary pain. Eyelids twitched tight till wrinkled formed, accompanied with the depression of the lips. Behind the kissing machines, teeth ground and clenched unhealthily, an sawing noise emitting. Takeba's hands jerked in random directions, swatting at the air at times, some of the swings going up and down in a flapping of win motion. She rolled back and forth in a frenzy, dodging foreign ammunition. Her brows furrowed sharply downward and started as salty beads wet the hair follicles.

Falling, a warmly-colored leaf floated towards the girl, swaying in a gentle rhythm. Twirling, dancing, the former part of a mighty tree descended to District 4's lonely Tribute, Nature bending down to the cheek. With the shifting soft breeze, the leaf would almost be off the path to the girl; however, another wind would blow it back on intended course. Sunlight turned the pumpkin orange hue into a soft orange - one so sweet and succulent to the taste buds if it was edible. Whirling, twisting, the leaf came down.

Planted on the cheek was a leaf kiss, which aroused the girl to a violent waking. Takeba jolted to a sit-up position, gasping, deeply breathing. One hand went to the chest having a difficult hug on reality, and then the fingers brushed through the knotted, greasy hair. Her orbs, wide and glassy, blinked fast as a the Tribute train cars, shifting everywhere of the scenery. Overabundance of oranges, yellows, and reds settled the heart slightly, though spook existed in the veins. As the right left hand shook, the other took a hold of its kin and held it tight, into balls of fists. Her knees rose for the purple-haired girl to hug them.

Laughter followed.

Adrenaline drained out with the fit of giggles, the mouth covered by palm and digits. Horror transformed into pure happiness mixed with relief, the relaxation of brows and eyes encompassing the rush of positive emotion. Putting the hand down, she cleared her throat and closed sight from the world, a smile plastered on. Recollecting thoughts, she gave another chuckle.

" 'What I say, though, is that she is a total scaredy cat'. I must agree..."

Eyes averted to the distance on the right, and Takeba walked a certain paces. She stopped short of the trap.

"Is this not pleasant news for myself?" Takeba hid away the frown as the death of another creature came by in her hands, and collected the meat, storing away into the backpack for now. While she put away the trap materials, she whispered to herself, "I promised myself to put away the guilt, but the feeling to truly let go of the emotion was still present." Shake of the head. "I was always observing, even inside my dreams, the voices that were always existent in the night..." Nod.

"New promises will be made, for when I see the former members of the alliance. I will still serve them for the interest of improvement." Big smile.
