What about damaging a character using less-than-conventional methods? For example, a tripwire that leads into a spike pit. How is damage handled in cases like that? Thanks.

A new dice template would be drawn up for each individual trap, probably, and the chances that it would be discovered beforehand, what sort of damage it would do. It would be a case-by-case basis, but it would definitely be worked in there as fairly as possible.
